「Last minute booking, but looked forward to pool and spa, but not too be. An extra $20 more! Restaurant closed early. The room was comfortable and quiet. The carpet was well worn.」

We had requested a crib for our son and this was in our lodge. We had also had to reschedule our dinner reservation and this was done without any issues. 「There is no air con and the window cannot be opened. There is no curtain near the bath tub. No staff come to clean up after 11 am. Breakfast which costs 12.5 pounds but very few choices . Small hotel not quite the same as in the advertisement. 」

「Beautifully renovated main dining area and bar. Lovely food and drink. Unfortunately seemed a bit short-staffed the evening we dined and service was quite slow. Ran out of orange juice both mornings for breakfast. Room comfortable and spacious-quirks included non-functional telephone and safe. Would return and recommend to others. Perhaps just a bit more attention to detail (dead plants in hanging basket outside lodge rooms) for a 5-star rating.」

Modern and very well appointed, with a small garden for dogs, warm and traditional - contemporary decoration with a french country feel. Wonderful bathroom and extremely comfortable bed.
