We stayed in one of the riverside rooms with a great view from the balcony. The room was reasonably appointed and the staff were helpful. The breakfast buffet (included in the room rate) was very good. The estate is well maintained and we enjoyed the walking trails. Some of the furnishings are a bit dated.

We have stayed at this beautiful hotel many times and keep going back. The garden grounds make a beautiful setting and it is a pleasure to walk there. The building itself is a period country house, with many original features. Our room was very spacious and comfortable, although perhaps a little refurbishment is needed. The staff were friendly and efficient. We did not have dinner, but the buffet breakfast was excellent. We will certainly be back.
