“Lovely bit of highland grandeur/history. Mostly just passing through for a local event so didn’t get the full experience. Wee bit expensive for room alone but no complaints about the standards/staff etc bar/dining facilities looked very pleasant ”

“Very highly recommended. The hotel has had a spruce up since I was last here and she's looking lovely. Very comfy beds and powerful shower with nice products. Great spa. Food and cocktails both delicious. Everyone super friendly and helpful. With local people coming in to use the pool or have a drink at the bar, it feels like part of the town as well rather than just a tourist enclave. We will be back. ”

“Ginny and Steve are the most lovely hosts. So helpful and sweet! Breakfast is outstanding - delicious, freshly cooked, extremely generous portions, and an extremely wide selection of items. The town of Grantown on Spey is small, so not many eateries to choose from for dinner. But the B&B is just a couple blocks away from a peaceful wooded walk to the river. ”

“Sehr netter Gastgeber mit vielen schottischen Anekdoten am Frühstückstisch. Heimelige Atmosphäre beim wirklich tollen und sättigenden Frühstück nach Vorbestellung. “What a great hotel in a beautiful town. Would love to have stayed longer and will be back. They are the 1st hotel that accommodated the sky staying light all night. The curtains and shutters were great. The pillows, they could use some help.”

“Cozy, warm, made us feel completely at home! Great breakfasts! Special little touches like fresh flowers in local gin bottles, wee dram of scotch, cookies and chocolate. Awesome bed! Nice, crisp white sheets, comfy white comforter and good pillows! Loved the decor and the red doors!”

“We stayed for a couple of days and loved the experience! Allison and Hugh are one of the best hosts we´ve ever met. They are kind, welcoming and always available to help with anything you need. The breakfast they prepare is outstanding, everything homemade and delicious. We will definitely come back if we have the chance!!”
