A charming historic mansion within strolling distance of Elgin's main town centre. Well preserved, an interesting waltz into the past, comfortable lounge and games area. Wonderful dinner service and a super friendly and informative waiter. We were well cared for. Our room was a generous size and comfortable.

What an absolutely beautiful place! We loved our room; it had so much character. We appreciated the kettle and coffee/tea in the room, the included breakfast; the restaurant on site, the wifi and the available parking. The grounds are also beautiful; you can sit at the tables along the river and admire the castle-like building. I wish we could have stayed longer.

Lovely staff

Lovely staff, especially on check-in & at Breakfast. Stay here regularly when working in the area. It's a gorgeous old building but the staff make it a nice place to stay.

A Delightful Stay

I had a fantastic stay at The Mansion House Hotel in Elgin, Scotland. The staff was great, the location was perfect for exploring the town, and the facilities were top-notch. Nice parking area in the hotel. The overall wonderful experience. Highly recommended for a memorable visit to Elgin.

When we pulled up the property looks amazing. Even the inside has great rooms. Then there was apparent and visible water damage and a musty smell in the air. A great building that just needs some TLC. Room was large and comfortable.

This is set up as a B&B as it has not evening restaurant , very difficult to find anyone and many old facilities whilst still there were unable. The room was in need of much repair especially in the bath room.
