“Honestly staff was good, property was shutting down for a remodel so I get it but! They did not disclose a there was a $35 destination fee per day, last I checked in California that violates SB 478 about hidden fees, finally when I receive my receipt it doesn’t state how much I paid? Originally this was booked for $638 and some change and on arrival I paid an additional $300.00 for what? A deposit? Front desk didn’t state that, my receipt shows no balance paid? I don’t understand.”

“I recently stayed at DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel Golf Resort Palm Springs with my family for vacation and my experience was quite disappointing. The bathtub in my room was clogged, which made it extremely difficult to take a proper bath. It ended up taking a very long time to shower, which was very frustrating. To make matters worse, my family members who stayed in a separate room also experienced similar issues with their bathtub. For a hotel of this reputation, I expected better maintenance……

“Staff were nice, but the room was a mess. The AC was super noisy and the smoke alarm went off at 5 AM for no reason, which was terrifying. The desk lamp and the room phone were both broken, we had to walk down to the lobby just to talk to the staff. Overall a pretty bad experience.”

“Location is very convenient and parking off street was easy. I must admit that I was taken aback by the charge of $100 for my 20lb male woodle dog. In my opinion, “dog friendly” means anything more than dog treats in a cookie jar at check in counter. That being said I enjoyed the stay. The hotel needs a facelift for sure but would stay there again for convenience!!!”

“Free parking is always convenient & loved the free breakfast buffet. Didn't get a chance to use the pool, it was windy but would be nice if there was a jacuzzi.”
