“The photos online did not do the place justice - the place itself is FANTASTIC, very modern decor and spacious rooms. It is offsite but actually just at the end of the street, perfect location and you can easily stargaze at night just on your own driveway. A perfect place to stay especially when you plan to explore the Fiordland National Park or just Te Anau itself! ”

“I could put up photos of the amazing view of Glenorchy and the surrounds but chances are that you've already seen them and are now looking for a place to stay. The Lake House is comfortable and situated very close to the lake. This is both a good thing and a bad thing. Good because it's close to walk and get a better view down the lake or up towards the mountains where sections of LoTR was filmed. Bad because there are sand flies which will happily feast upon your bare skin. Make sure you wear……
