「We loved the trails and easy access to restaurants and shopping. The room was a little dated, and the shuttle was unreliable, but overall, it was a great trip. The grounds were immaculate and the service was spot on.」

「The entire complex is beautiful and very well maintained. The staff were exceptionally helpful and friendly. We really appreciated the shuttle service that will take you almost anywhere on the island and pick you up to come back within minutes of your call.
We didn’t have time to use the free bicycles, but we saw they are SUN Brand and our bikes at home are the same brand. They are Wonderful bikes to ride.
Food in the dining room was excellent.」

「Excellent value. Old southern charm, but with emphasis on the old— our room was as clean as housekeeping could possibly make it, but the carpet had large stains, shower door can’t stay shut, paint on bathroom ceiling and parts of walls cracked and peeling. Tile missing on bathroom floor.
Brilliant location right in historic district because hotel is pretty much the historic anchor (former exclusive millionaires club built at end of 19th century).

「Right across the street from quiet, beautiful stretch of beach. Ideally located close to downtown and up the street from the beach restaurants/bars at the roundabout. 「We thoroughly enjoyed our 3-night stay. Our king room on the first floor was very comfortable, spotless, had a large bathroom, and even a little back deck. The historic property was beautifully restored and clearly very well cared for by innkeeper Veronica and her team. Veronica's gourmet breakfasts were a huge treat, different every morning, and served with attention to every detail in the elegant dining room. Veronica was happy to share suggestions on activities and restaurants in the area....
