"This was a great little hotel, run by a family and a lady called Michelle who was a brilliant host throughout our stay and spoke excellent english. The location is very peaceful, alongside a fantastic walking/cycling track which takes you around the nearby lakes and river. We ate in the restaurant every night and the food was always fantastic - especially the sweet and sour pork! The breakfast noodles were amazing and my favourite meal of the trip. We'd return here for sure."

"Stayed at the hotel for a bit more than a week. Looks very nice aesthetically. Very nice and flexible cleaning staff...that's where the good parts end honestly. Checking in was difficult, the people at the front couldn't find my reservation and were skeptical that I actually booked rooms. "Amazing staff that would do anything to help and an unbeatable location. Rooms were incredible (and always somehow smelt terrific) and breakfast was not perfect but a good effort. "I would've given this hotel an excellent rating were it not for the terrible wifi connection. It's brand new right beside Shanhu Lake (north side). Be sure to show the Chinese address and name of the hotel. Very few taxi drivers know where it is since it's brand new. The hotel's telephone number in expedia is incorrect! I've attached a screenshot of the hotel's Chinese name and address below. Even with this information, our taxi driver had trouble finding it. Oddly it doesn't show up in a google...
