“The hotel’s location is great, not far from main street. They also offer a free Shuttle bus to take customers to the busiest area in town, so, you don’t have to worry about parking ! “What a gem! I almost didn’t want to leave a review because this place is such a gorgeous hotel and I want to come back. We come to Newport often and this was the best stay we’d had yet (and I’ve been in a dozen hotels). Beautifully decorated down to real flowers. We stayed in a suite and the pull out bed was so comfy. Highly Recommend - we will be back!!!”

“We loved the location, the layout of the loft, the kitchen and for the most part the bathrooms. At this price point, you expect perfection. The beds are adequate, but not as good as a Marriott or Hilton, one toilet ran constantly, as there must have been a small leak, we asked to have it fixed but it never was. “The property consists of two rental units but this fact is not obvious from the pictures on the website. We did not get the rooftop deck with a view of the harbor. That belongs to the other unit. The sewer pipes are enclosed in the paper-thin walls of the first floor bedroom of our unit so every time someone flushes the toilet, uses the sink, takes a shower, you can hear water flowing through the pipes followed by loud clanging sound. Along with the loud music, people talking, chairs scraping……

The Castle Hill inn was built as a private residence in 1874 and today it is wonderfully persevered as a historical inn and provides great views of the Atlantic Ocean and the beginning of Narraganset Bay. A few minutes walk is the Castle Hill Lighthouse. Definitely worth the walk.

Pleople who works in the bar restaurant are really friendly, but the environment is filthy! A lot feathers came out of decoration pillows! Not very comfortable visually! "
