“Our first room smelled really musty; we were switched to one that was better, but still slightly musty. The restaurant was excellent. For the price, I feel it was a little rundown.”

“We booked a one-night experience for ourselves, our two sons and their respective wives at this highly rated facility as part of our vacation. We arrived early for our check-in, so one of three rooms was available which was fine. The rooms were large but had a musty smell when we entered. The bed was comfortable, but most of the amenities are dated. That said, this was meant to be a “lodge”, so our expectations may have been too high. “Nice for family trip”

“Used to be our favorite, back in the slightly finkier past. Now, no soap in the shower, no handrail in the shower (code violation?), no hair dryer, nice drip over coffee, but nothing to heat the water with, no clean towels at the pool until we complained, etc. Used to be free snacks every day. Alas, no more. Dirty sitting at the pool. For the prices now charged, management needs to get their act together.”
