"This place was incredible. It was essentially a one bedroom apartment with a small kitchen a full living room and dining room. Location is incredible for Mayfair and Hyde Park. The only criticism I had was that I had a room at the front of the property. It faced onto a popular cut through road so you could hear the traffic outside until around 1am. "Stayed at this hotel numerous times in the past due to the location and the value for money. Turned up yesterday and you now have to pay £10 per bag if you want to use luggage drop off. I paid extra for an upgraded room which was smaller than a cupboard, dated, and the air conditioning unit was so loud we couldn’t have it on overnight (on the hottest weekend of the year so far). Also no tea and coffee in the room any more….what the hell is that all about? Will never stay here again"

"No plugs by the bedside to charge phones. No hooks in the bathroom to hang towels up after a shower. You can’t turn on individual lights but have to select full or mood lighting. We asked to switch rooms and were told there were no rooms available to swap but when we explained some of the lights weren’t working there was suddenly a room available for us to check in to. The shampoo bottle was empty and had to call twice to get it refilled, it took over an hour for staff to replace the empty shampoo container. Check in staff did not advise us the pool was closed for maintainance and we only found out when we went to the pool. If you want room service you have to remember to call the staff and ask them to clean your room. Overall a very expensive hotel which lacks basic amenities like plugs by bedside and hooks for towels. Staff could have provided a much better service. This hotel is not worth the price paid although it is in a good location the room is very basic!"

"Lovely hotel in great location for Theatres. Hotel is very modern and room was small but functional. We had basic room which was fine for a night or 2. Would not be suitable if you had mobility issues as you have to climb over one another to get into bed. Tea and coffee facilities are in rooms, hair dryer and lovely toiletries. Was beautifully clean. Hotel is a bit quirky but I would definitely stay here again"

"Only booked here because I had to stay in London last minute and there were few choices. £280 for a box prison cell room in which I lay contemplating how I could have got a limousine ride home for less. However as a hotel the location is pretty decent and this would suit a lot of people when rates are lower. Having to check yourself in and out is a bit of self serve joke though, service non existent"
