"The hardware of this hotel is good but staff are not very customer oriented except for the front office manager called Candy. She's very helpful and has very good customer service skills. Avoid rooms facing entrance, its very noisy at night because other tourists are dragging their luggage onto the stone pavement right outside the entrance . Our room came with breakfast but it is not worth getting up for. The breakfast room is not inside the hotel and is down the road in another building....

"This little gem is hiding behind the songtsam temple, though it's a bit hard to find even with the GPS. The small town in front of the hotel is undergoing heavy constructions. We arrived there with no hot water and got a free upgrade a suite. Room is huge but not as cozy as the smaller one. They even set up the fireplace to get the room warmed up for us everyday. Food is excellent but too bad we missed the spa. Overall an excellent hotel where you can relax and find you inner peace, definitely...

"Tucked away in a tiny village, this hotel is a true escape where the only sounds you hear are those of nature. It’s the perfect place to unwind and recover from the fatigue of high-altitude travel—peaceful, refreshing, and deeply calming. The property itself is expansive, set on beautiful grounds with a flowing river and a scenic lawn. I stayed in a stunning two-story detached Tibetan-style cottage, beautifully designed with an eye for detail and cultural authenticity—it was both luxurious and inspiring. The staff were exceptionally kind and welcoming. One of the highlights of my stay was the meaningful conversations I had with them; they shared fascinating insights about local religion and traditions, adding a rich cultural layer to the experience. A truly special stay that nourishes both body and spirit. "
