Room had groceries from the previous guest -- beef jerky, chips -- and floss picks.
Mattress needed updating on bed -- sank on one side.
No window in room. Was the hotel that fully booked that we ended on second floor with no window?
Staffed at odd times. No staff before 9 a.m. on Saturday (another guest was locked out of his room and couldn't get any help), and nobody there 10 a.m. Sunday when we checked out.
Fridge in the hallway was a nice idea, but it was not refreshed. No fresh items -- granola bars, processed juices, some bread and muffins in there for an indeterminate time.
A facility with this history and potential draw ought to at least have fresh coffee downstairs -- not self-serve K-cup nonsense. And judging from how our room was not cleaned, I wouldn't drink from an in-room or floor-shared cofee maker anyway.
Confusing instructions for electronic check-in -- ignore a code at the bottom, download an app, etc. I don't want to use my phone to unlock my door: I would appreciate service.
