“We wanted self catering accommodation that was not isolated that we can just chill out if we want to and this fits the bill. It is an easy walk into Ballater for shops restaurants etc. very central to explore the local area and there are some great walks. The accommodation is clean and well presented and has everything you need and the owners were helpful and friendly but left you in peace. I would certainly stay again if in the area. ”

“We very much enjoyed using the apartment. The sofas were comfortable, the rooms had good closet space, the beds were also comfortable, and the kitchen was well equipped. We especially liked being able to walk to the Co-op and the fact that a pharmacy close by. We would definitely return if we are headed to the Aberdeen area. ”

“My wife will never become involved in trip organization but is exceedingly quick to criticize!!! Initially, there were some murmurings as we ventured further from Alford but she rather sheepishly admitted that the quality was excellent which made my stay more enjoyable as well! The kitchen and all the rooms were very well appointed as part of a stone built barn conversion. So quiet and properly dark at night - the stars were fantastic. Owner lived next door and was very friendly and……
