House is tastefully decorated with great spaces, wonderful light & a big garden/patio as well. We were glad to find a place that had plenty of room and appropriate beds for 8 adults. “This stay at Blackthorn went above and beyond what I needed - some time and space for myself to write. In the comfort and peace of this hut in this location, I was able to write nearly 10,000 words, unheard of in my everyday busy life at home! “The cottage is very nice and has all you need for a pleasant stay. In case you need something and/or want some ideas what to do/where to go, Tichy ( Patricia) and Richard are ready to help. But the best thing about this cottage is it's LOCATION : starting from the cottage you can start kicking, cycling and you can visit a lot of little beautifull little towns, castles/mannors, gardens, ... after only a 30 min. drive. Oxford, Blenheim, the birthplace of Shakespeare, ... are within a 60 min.……

“Lovely property just a short walk into the centre of Bourton on the water, though beware there is a very steep hill to climb when walking back. Very spacious. Lounge and open plan kitchen could do with a bit of an update. Fabulous views across the country side and so many different species of birds to view from the very large window in the lounge. Owners very kindly left binoculars and a bird book. Extremely quiet setting. Stayed Friday to Monday and it was a really lovely break. ”
