「Our cottage was listed as having a bay view, and we paid over $300/night for this view. The cottage was on a narrow (not super clean looking) man-made canal, with a parking lot to a hotel on the other side of the canal. The canal is wider than a ditch but very narrow. Very technically speaking, you can see the natural body of water (referred to as the bay) if you look through the landscape and other buildings between our cottage and the water, but the view was not in any reasonable way a bay...

「We were looking for a dog friendly place to vacation with our furry son. He travels with us all the time. The fenced in yard and deck were great for him. The decor was beautiful and the kitchen was well stocked with anything we needed to cook with. We had a wonderful and relaxing time.」

「Very clean room. Rented a small boat from them and took our dogs with us; they loved being on a boat! Beautiful views of the water and assateague lighthouse right from the property, especially at sunset. We paid for the water taxi to take us to a secluded beach for a few hours. The dogs got to run in the sand, and we saw the wild horses on the same shore as us maybe 100 yards away! The staff was very attentive.」

「This is a perfect cottage for a couples weekend away from home. We enjoyed sitting on the screened in porch for coffee in the mornings and lunch in the afternoon. The cottage is within driving or biking distance to Main Street and the wildlife refuge, which we loved exploring during the day. The cottage was clean and comfortable for two.」

「The house was very clean and tidy when we arrived. We appreciated having our linens supplied, the very clear house manual with all instructions and clear communication on how to access the house. We also liked how the host checked in to see how we were doing and if we had any needs. This house was also pet friendly.」
