“I booked The Hollies as a place to celebrate my birthday with family. It was everything and more than I could have asked for. The location, interior design, quality of everything in the hours and the garden were top class. This house has been so well designed and has created the most relaxing environment as well as providing entertainment for all. “I had wonderful weather and the hosts could not have been more helpful. The cottage was very comfortable and well equipped. Only 2 criticisms: the mirror in the bathroom should be a few inches lower. I am 5ft 2 inches and could only see the top of my head and pepper and salt would be very nice.”

The dining room a stunning setting for a small family celebration and the well equipped kitchen makes cooking easy. Very comfortable house & we enjoyed the family table tennis competition! “Particularly enjoyed the spaciousness and comfort of the accommodation. The maps for walks in and around the estate were an unexpected bonus, which was taken full advantage of. A surprising coincidental connection to the estate owner. The flapjacks were the best we'd ever tasted (recipe?)! The only disappointment was the DVD/CD player incompatible with the TV/sound system, so were unable to enjoy the music and movies we'd brought. Otherwise, a well deserved 5 stars!”
