“Air conditioning was not working. But luckily it cooled down enough at night to make it bearable. The room and the balcony were great as was the staff. ”

“The front desk staff were fantastic. I can’t say enough good things about them. The bar/in hotel restaurant however might have been the worst service I’ve ever had. It took over 20 minutes to get a simple drink, and another 40 minutes to get our food, which was wrong/not what we ordered. The server was very polite (I don’t recall her name), but the wait times and lack of attention to detail was abysmal. The hotel and stay were wonderful, but I would never eat or get a drink there if I come back”

“Great hotel in excellent location. Would definitely recommend staying there and will stay there again! The decor of the public area was exciting, it is a well preserved historic space and shows the old and the new. The Candy Bar is an adorable little bar with tasty libations and an always rotating cast of characters. However, I would recommend with a name like that, add a drink with an actual candy name like “Chocolate Kiss” martini , served with …what else, but a chocolate kiss candy as a……

“The Cochrane Inn is run by a pair of wonderful sisters, Rica and Winky. I arrived at the Inn way ahead of the check-in time and was exhausted due to the longhaul flight. They offered me complimentary breakfast and accompanied me while I was waiting in the lobby. The room was clean and comfortable. This was my first time being able to fall asleep on a hotel bed without the help of melatonin pills! The Cochrane Inn is truly a magical house to me!  Thank you for the awesome stay once again, Rica……

“The bed was great. Nice sheets, good pillows, and comforter. Very clean bathroom and tub. The location was perfect. Corktown is cute with nice restaurants nearby. There was a little coffee bar downstairs and the latte was very good. There is a fire pit with chairs to sit around outside.i would definitely come back here.”

“Very sheak and swanky hotel. Was a great getaway from our normal lives to have a great night out downtown. Definitely recommend to couples looking for a nice place to stay.”

“Beautiful property but there wasn’t extra toilet paper and Kleenex in the room and the bathroom shelf wasn’t secure. It was also pretty warm and we didn’t have individual control of our room temp. A mini fridge would have gone a long way. There was also no tea in the lobby. I would stay there again in the spring or fall. ”

“The room was very clean. The hotel space in general seemed very clean However, the room had some weird random things- the faucet in the bathroom was loose and just kinda flopping around. The toilet paper holder was falling out of the wall. And after REALLY looking at the bathroom I noticed the trim was painted EXTREMELY messily While NONE of this was an issue with the stay - I guess I just expect more for the amount that’s paid for the room. “Great proximity to downtown but there is a lot of construction around the hotel. Sheets had some minor stains but we lived through that. Overall, decent stay.”
