We had a short trip to Ella and booked Hotel Onrock for one night. The hotel is at the top of a steep hill and was a bit tricky to find but once we found it, I could not fault anything about the hotel. It was very clean and well maintained. Wonderful views very helpful friendly staff good food options walkable to the town. Could do with a quiet curfew at 11pm as people very noisy till early hours and not much sleep perhaps a small change to hotel policy that quiet after 12 pm? Otherwise was very good stay and would recommend

The view from this hotel is lovely. Rooms were nice, kettle and toiletries provided. Walkable to Ella town (albeit a steep road). Bathroom not the best - poor water pressure, smelled like damp. Breakfast and sevice was good.

Our host, Sanjaya, provided a warm welcome. Literally as he brought a portable heater into our room as the weather took a chilly turn. Great staff who could not have been more helpful with suggestions and with an umbrella! Breakfast was good too.

Nice and different accommodation
Nice beds, nice house with kitchen. Amazing service and nice breakfast from staff🙏 It was more cold in July than we expected - our bad, and the distance to town made it more complicated to eat in town. Nice restaurants in town! Amazing view, clouds coming in around the mountain and town.
