“This property was very lovely. It was incredibly clean and offered many amenities. The unit itself was large with plenty of space, and very clean and comfortable. The area around it is quite and beautiful being right on the water! The walk to town isn’t too bad but there are dining options and a few stores nearby too. The staff were all incredibly welcoming and friendly. I would stay here again! ”

“This retreat hotel is close to the airport. Argostoli is about 20 mins drive. Room was spacious with a small kitchen. Access to beach is a short 2 min drive from hotel. Staff was attentive and gave us useful travel tips and driving directions. Restaurant menu offered limited choices but we were able to pre-order seafood dishes in advance and the hotel chef then ordered from the local fish market. We noticed water to contain sediment not sure if because of water filtering or water salt issues. ”

“Avithos resort looks as good as the photos. Chose this resort because of the kitchenette so that I could make food in the apartment and it didn’t disappoint. The kitchen has everything you need, except they don’t provide washing up liquid and sponge. It was lovely sitting out on the balcony for dinner or a drink. The local tavernas do takeaway food if you don’t feel like cooking but want to eat at the apartment. The swimming pool area is lovely and relaxing, no fight for sunbeds and plenty of……

“We spent 2 weeks in August at Maria’s. Lovely apartments with beautiful surroundings and a gorgeous view. Apartments were basic but had everything we needed. There is a hairdryer (which isn’t mentioned in the description). Check in was easy, we had a late arrival and were advised in advance of our apartment number beforehand and access instructions. Housekeeping was daily and maids were very friendly. As mentioned previously, it is a steep hill up to the apartments but we found it walkable.……

“This is an ideal base for a holiday. It is in a very peaceful hamlet with stunning views which raise your spirits every time you gaze out. Fiskardo is a very short drive away with its harbour side restaurants and cafés there are also pretty villages nearby with very good restaurants too. We were very well looked after by the kind and friendly caretakers, who, as well as doing a great job of maintaining this beautiful property, welcomed us warmly and provided us with some delicious home made……

“Hotel was excellent all around, nice pool with view of ocean, room and balcony great view , clean and neat, housekeeping came in every day, owners were very friendly and helpful….. provided maps and insights into sights to visit…… Quiet and location to port, center , and some great beaches were close…… I will return…… never had a chance to sample restaurant( hotel was closing for season)……… I recommend without reservation…. ”

“Excellent location only 30 yards to the beach, extremely quite, but plenty of restaurants within easy walking distance. We only left the beach road on one occasion when friends drove us to a Jaz night. Great shower with plenty of hot water for both of us, and a very comfortable bed. Liked the little veranda which we sat on every night enjoying several night caps. The only small criticism is that not much wardrobe space for a two week space, and would have loved a fridge/frezzer.”

“Nikollette, was a great host , met us in the village and showed us to the villa ... Perfect location , villa has all that you need , quiet area and beautiful garden and pool at the villa ... Lovely local beaches within walking distance and two great tavernas near by .. Villa very clean and comfy beds .. Would stay again and recommend ... “This is a really pretty property- well equipped and a lovely pool with a view! The rooms are spotless & feel like authentic Greece! Great aircon & plenty of attractive outside space. Two spacious bedrooms & a well appointed kitchen. Very comfortable stay. But - the property is hard to find and the final 200m of access road is very rough, not tarmaced and very steep. Not for nervous drivers! And the access path is also very rocky for a short spell although the rest of the path is fine.As per the……
