「The house was a lovely old Cretan house renovated to a high standard, and Popi was a wonderful, helpful, and knowledgeable host - really friendly and full of suggestions of where to go next. You will need to have a car to get around as it is not at all central, and do not expect a modern building - but it was full of character and the aircon worked very well, so in my eyes it was perfect! I would happily stay here again, and hope to do so some day in the coming years.」

「Close to the beach & the airport Karteros Hotel is in a great location. It is also 20 mins by bus from the port. WiFi is good, the room is large with lots of plug ports & a good sized bathroom. Breakfast had a wide selection of fruit, salad, hot items, pastries, fruit juice, hot drinks & more. The pool is large but not heated so can be chilly. A lovely one night stay. 」

Best to get google maps to bring you to Krousonas town center and then put in the property address. Google maps in Crete will have you go down goat paths and should not be trusted. 「First of all, we stayed in early May when it was quiet. The (standard) room we stayed in was very good - spacious, clean, tasteful decor, good bed, dark and quiet. The breakfast was very good and the bar overlooking the beach also good. Otherwise there are a few things to note: The bathroom is small, compared with the room itself. The beach is overrun with sun beds, making it feel claustrophobic. There is a space at each end if you want to lay in the sand. The water is very clear and clean....
