"Lovely room, great breakfast, and Octavio was a helpful and friendly host. We even found free parking nearby. It’s within easy walking distance of the old center. The only challenge was finding it! "

"The room was nice. Had everything we needed. Language barrier aside, the staff were friendly. Breakfast was delicious. Our passports were held overnight which was disconcerting, but normal I hear. My only complaint is the motion sensor light in the stairwell shut off mid staircase leaving us to use our cell phone lights to get up to our room."

"We had a wonderful three night stay at Giardino delle Zagare. Morgan is a great host giving us recommendations on where to eat. We had a beautiful room that was spotlessly clean with a great shower. The hotel is tucked away in a small street in the old town. Fabulous breakfast and we loved the garden where we could sit in the shade in the heat of the day.
Piazza Armerina is a lovely little town.
villa Romana Del Casale was spectacular. We got there before 9am and were allowed in just 9am. We used an audio guide which was great. We got to see each section of the villa on our own which was an amazing experience. "
"I had a truly wonderful stay at Mazzini Palace. From the moment I arrived, the staff were warm, welcoming, and always smiling – it genuinely felt like they had put their heart and soul into creating this place.
A special thank you to Giulia, who was an absolute professional. She was incredibly attentive, kind, and always ready to help with any request. Her approach made the stay even more enjoyable and stress-free.
The room was spotless, and the level of cleanliness was exceptional throughout my stay. Everything was cleaned daily, the towels were changed every day, and fresh water was brought to the room daily, which I really appreciated. Little touches like slippers and a shower cap – just like in a five-star hotel – made the experience feel especially comfortable and thoughtful.
The room itself was beautiful, with very high ceilings that made you genuinely feel like you were staying in a modern palace – spacious, elegant, and full of character.
The breakfast was excellent, with a good selection and everything fresh and nicely presented. It really set a positive tone for the day.
Another highlight was the view – from the hotel you can see Mount Etna, which made the stay even more special and memorable.
Although the location is in a quieter area and requires a bit of travel to reach the main attractions, the peaceful atmosphere can be a nice advantage if you prefer to stay away from busy tourist crowds.
I would absolutely recommend Mazzini Palace👌"
"The spa was excellent - both the facials
And massages. The room was large and had a lovely terrace. The hotel restaurant menu was limited but the bar staff talked to the kitchen staff and they made what we wanted to eat.

"We spent a wonderful week this March at Podere dell’Etna Segreta, and the experience was truly unforgettable. Even with a touch of winter still in the landscape, the beauty and tranquillity of the estate are felt the moment you pass through the gate and approach the main house.
Each room has its own fireplace, with wood thoughtfully provided, adding warmth and charm to the peaceful setting. Above the estate, Etna in Bianco dominates the sky, while the view from the villa’s terrace offers a breathtaking panorama of the landscape below.
What makes the place truly special is the care and passion of the Grasso family and their dedicated team, who make you feel more like a guest of the family than a visitor. The chef’s creations are exceptional, making every meal a memorable experience, with new dishes already being meticulously planned for the summer season.
All of this gives us the perfect reason to return in summer—to see the podere in a completely different light: vineyards heavy with grapes awaiting the right moment for the vendemmia, olive trees full of fruit, and the joy of dining al fresco on the beautiful terrace whilst taking in the beautiful surroundings.
Grazie di cuore a Mario (Poet and Boss), Costanza (the Wife), Lorenzo (Chef), Gabriele and Jack (extremely dedicated staff).
A presto"
