Bolo Hills Beach Club

"I’ll start by saying that Bolo Hills Beach Club may not be the cheapest beachfront option, but I would absolutely stay here again. For me, it came down to two things: the view and the hospitality. The beachfront setting is beautiful, but what really made the stay memorable was Greg, the owner, and his wonderful staff. They made everything feel personal without ever being intrusive. By the end of my stay, I realized that I will probably judge other boutique resorts by the standard they set here. Want a custom dinner on the beach beside a fire pit? Done. Need something that isn’t available at the resort? The staff will go into town and get it for you. Have a special request? They genuinely seem happy to figure out how to make it happen. Greg told me his goal is for every guest to leave with a smile. I can attest that I did. There are plenty of places where you can pay for a nice room and a beachfront view. What separates Bolo Hills Beach Club is the feeling that the people running it actually care whether you are enjoying your stay. I’m writing this review almost immediately after Expedia gave me the opportunity, which probably says more than anything else. Beautiful location, exceptional hospitality, and a place I would happily return to."

"Location of the hotel is just a walking distance to the Hundred Islands wharf area. The breakfast is good. The staff are friendly, polite and helpful. Pillows are huge and bed is comfortable. The only problem we encountered was that the hot water was so hard to control the heat. There were tiny ants on top of the table. They have a “no stain” policy on their bedsheet, pillow, towel, or you’ll be charged with a fine. Spa massage was good. Rose gave us an excellent massage."

"Absolutely wonderful stay! The resort exceeded our expectations from start to finish. The accommodations were beautiful, clean, comfortable, and very well maintained. The entire property had a relaxing atmosphere that made it perfect for a getaway. The staff were incredibly friendly, welcoming, and attentive throughout our stay. Everything was well organized, and we truly felt taken care of. The amenities and overall experience were excellent. We had such a memorable and enjoyable time and would definitely recommend this resort to anyone looking for a comfortable and relaxing vacation. We would happily stay here again!"

"This place was a great place for our family reunion. The 4 bedrooms are huge, the kitchen and dinning room are large, and the living room is immense and they all have A/C splits to keep them comfortably cool on the hottest days. The terrace, where we cooked and entertained is 3 times the size of the living room so there's plenty of space for our large group. Communication with the host was seamless, and Joan, the caretaker, did so much for us setting up Jeeps, getting things, etc. We highly recommend this wonderful place."
