Beautiful and Relaxing

We had such a wonderful time. The house was big enough to accommodate my family of five comfortably. We love that it's right on the beach and so private. That porch is absolutely amazing! The only surprise we had was that there is no oven in the kitchen so we had to change plans on a dinner but not a big deal. I did look back on the listing and it doesn't list an oven as one of the kitchen amenities so that was my fault.

Wonderful location!

The home is very nice and has shampoo, conditioner and body wash. We had a bathroom door lock problem when we arrived, but someone was there in under 30 minutes fixing it. Hosts were very responsive and kind!Although we loved the place, we had no kitchen towels to dry dishes. Although each person had a bath towel and beach towel, we had only one washcloth and two hand towels for seven of us. This would not stop us from staying here again, though! Cold air conditioning, no bugs, very clean, nice hot water, and walking out to a beautiful beach with breathtaking views makes this place worth every penny. The outdoor furniture is very comfortable and clean. Also, there is a great local bakery to grab food so cooking is optional!!I would strongly recommend staying here.

Beautiful family getaway

Property was very clean, and manager was great to deal with. The beach is beautiful and quiet, and only a 12 minute ride to the plaza. Perfect spot for us this year

Amazing ocean view

This is a beautiful home located right on the ocean . We spend time watching the surfers, birds catching fish and strolling along the beach.Great restaurants nearby! We had an amazing family vacation. Location was perfect.

We had a wonderful time at this property. The house and beach were gorgeous. The property managers were attentive to our needs and even had a high-chair and pack n play available for our little one. We would stay here again!

Nice place on the beach

This is a nice 3 bedroom on the beach. It is not fancy, but clean and comfortable. For us we love the patio the most. We love laying in the hammocks and listening to the rhythm of the ocean.

Lovely home, fantastic location

This is such a lovely home with a beautiful ocean view. It is literally on the beach, so access couldn't have been better. The host had so many things for us that we didn't need to buy much as far as supplies. If I had to say anything negative at all, it would be that the living room furniture was not very comfortable for lounging after a long day at the beach or in town. Otherwise, the place was absolutely fabulous.

The house is in Aguada away from the busyness of San Juan. Waking up to the crushing sounds of the ocean was so peaceful. My whole family enjoyed our stay here. The property manager Ernest was very responsive and a great host. The place is clean and well stocked with the necessities. I appreciated that. I would def stay here again.

Amazing!!!

Just returned home and already planning our next trip back!! This beach house was simply amazing. Our family of 10 really enjoyed the huge terrace, ocean breeze and the amazing view. The home was clean and spacious. Our family felt safe and Lillian was always a phone call away if we had a question. The pictures do not do this place justice!! Thank you Lillian...we brought home beautiful memories!!! Can't wait to go back!!

AWESOME!

This is a wonderful beach house. We have eight children and we all enjoyed just walking out of the back door to play at the beach. They have a shower that you can rinse off in as you walk back in. The beach is beautiful sugar sand and perfect for children to play at. We walked south and found tide pools with sea urchins and LOTS of sea glass along the beach. We recommend it!

Quiet/Beautiful Getaway

My wife, mother-in-law and three boys 18,19 & 22 staid for 5 days in April. The property was just as described. The view and the sounds were amazing. The patio was just amazing, watching both the sunrise and the sunset. Was very secluded and quiet, at least when we were there. The house had all the necessities such as Dinnerware, utensils, pots and towels that you may need. We ate many meals at the house, so this was very handy. Kim & Ernest where very welcoming and made the whole process of renting effortless. They were quick to respond and help in any way they could, if needed. Would definately recommend., and hope to be back someday.

Great home for a relaxing vacation

This was our second stay at this house. Lillian is extremely easy to work with. I have truly enjoyed working with her. Lillian and her husband made sure we had everything we needed before they left. We actually had some car issues when we arrived and they made sure we were taken care of before leaving. The home is great for our group of friends. Very comfortable and spacious enough for the 8 of us to have our own space. Our favorite part is the outdoor patio that we spent hours on watch the waves or laying in the hammocks. This is our second time renting and will not be our last.

Magical Family Beach Vacation

Our family of 6 (two adults and four kids ages 7-17) traveled to Puerto Rico for the first time. Our first step was this amazing house. The location is ideal -- right on a beautiful beach, which we had mostly to ourselves the whole time we were there, easy access to Rincón and Aguadilla, plenty of supermarkets and restaurants within a 10-minute drive. The house was very clean and the air conditioners work well. Access to the beach is through an open air downstairs room with a shower right by the back door, which makes it possible to keep sand out of the house, even with the kids running in and out all day. Washer and dryer on the property means you can pack light. A kitchen allowed us to save money by preparing meals at home. I wish we could have stayed a full week!

OMG best house ever!

With four hammocks and such a roomy porch you felt a part of the ocean the entire time. My kids and I often rent homes in Puerto Rico and this by far was the absolute best. Literally on the beach, the house was very well equipped the airconditioned rooms were enjoyed by my family. I slept out on the hammock to be awakended by the amazing sunrise. the house is so close to Rincon we just walked over. the Beach was like a tropical paradise. And no need to go to a different beach for sea glass as it was right there in our front yard. The owners were very attentive and accomodating. They have a back up for everything inlcuding water and electricity which I did not need but those folks staying this week may. Definitely visiting again and again!

Unbelievable setting!

Loved this beach house in Aguada. Lillian's directions from the San Juan airport were very good, and she was very helpful when we arrived after dark, took a wrong turn and couldn't find the home right away. The kitchen had what we needed for a couple of nice meals, including steak prepared on the grill. Beds were comfortable, and sleep came easy with the waves crashing on the beach. There was some loud music in the neighborhood on one weekend evening well into the night, but we chalked that up to community celebrating with it being surfing championships in Rincon and the surrounding area. We enjoyed watching locals surfing right outside our house. Honestly, this is the best beach, perfect for walking a very long distance in both directions, which we love to do. Winter waves were a bit much for our boogie boarders, but it was so fun to watch local surfers! We'd like to come back when the waves aren't quite so big so we can swim. Also, it's in walking distance to some great beach bar/restaurants with delicious bar food. It was a great location for our day trips to Rincon and Lagos Dos Bocas. There was one little issue with the toilet, but once we called Lillian, it was fixed promptly by her very accommodating son-in-law. Thanks, Lillian and Maximo, for the comfortable stay. We hope to return some day!

The property and location were great. My only complaint would be the lack of flexability from the owner. I booked this houes nearly 3 month out from our arrival. the very next day after booking I realized a mistake in my planning. we needed to be out one day earlier than planned. I emailed the owner to change our reservation which they did quickly, but they would not refund me for the extra night. the add said no refunds so it is entirely within their rights to do so however I changed plans very quickly and still several months out. They were not inconvenienced and they did not loose any money. The only reason to hang onto the money at that point was greed. I was put off by their lack of grace in that situation. Other than that the home was exaclty as described and the beach was wonderful. you'll be very happy.

World's Most Awesome Patio Perched Above the Ocean

The views from this property's huge, nicely equipped patio are world-class. Awesome hammocks, table, and outdoor chairs/loveseat in the shade, with tons of recliners for sunbathing. One bathroom is right next to the patio. You can hear the crashing waves from every room of this home. During our January visit, the beach was mostly deserted with the exception of spotting occasional surfers or beach walkers. Very nice to have a shower just up the steps from the beach to wash off sandy feet when returning from beach time. The waves were much too strong for swimming here for 3 of our 4 days; there were swells of 4 feet or more breaking fairly close to shore. I understand this is usual for winter conditions in the whole area. On the fourth day, the waves calmed enough for us (two healthy, adult, strong swimmers) to enjoy a swim without being knocked over. Crashboat beach, about a 25 min drive away, is completely calm and quite uncrowded with crystal clear water, so that's where we went to swim and snorkel. Nearby downtown of Aguada is quaint and has a number of restaurant choices. The kitchen is nicely equipped including salt/pepper and quite a few spices. Laundry detergent also included. Large living/dining area with beautiful sea views. Bedrooms are small but have everything you need. We never needed or used the AC. Adjoining property has their patio separated by a privacy wall, but you can sometimes hear voices if others are present on the other side. Mostly the waves are loud enough to drown out any conversation that carries over and the patio feels very private. Our only minor dissatisfaction was the use of strongly scented air freshener. I was suspicious that this imight have been used to cover bad odors, but it turned out that was not the case. Once I found and unplugged the air freshener unit hidden behind the couch, and opened up all doors/windows, the fragrance cleared out rapidly and there weren't any underlying bad odors at all. Also, there were plenty of bath and beach towels, but only one hand towel; a few extra would have been welcome. It would also have been nice to be provided with even one spare roll of toilet paper, but none extra were there. A bit of confusion finding the place initially but Lillian was wonderful! I would happily rent this beautiful place again.

Amazing beachhouse... A true getaway

Pictures do not do this place justice! We needed a place big and private enough for my husband and I, my sister and her boyfriend (18 & 20), my 2 younger sisters and younger brother (teens 14, 15 & 17), my grandmother, my 2 boys (5 & 11). My grandmother's only request was that it be beachfront... she wanted to hear the waves at night and enjoy the beach during the day. This place fits the bill like no other. There are three decent sized bedrooms and all have A/C. My husband and I took the "master bedroom" (the only room with 1 bed in it). The beds were mostly all comfortable, although the teens could be picky so I am not sure I would take their complaints all to seriously about the softness of the bunk beds... There are two bathrooms, but one is on the porch/deck so you have to leave the inside of the house to use it... not a big deal, just something to note. The outdoor living space is really the most amazing part of this apartment... it is large and has plenty of seating. We really enjoyed the hammocks all day long... and the bench/table thing we used at night to play cards/dominoes. There is a grill out on the deck/patio that we used to grill dinner a few nights while we were there. There is no oven... which is not a big deal... my husband is a baker and wanted to make my dad something while we were there. There is also no dryer... but plenty of clothing lines to dry your clothes. There are a few shacks on the main route that is like 5 minutes away.. they have great food at decent prices. You must try some of the smoothies... the best we have ever had! It was a little difficult to find the place once you need to turn off the main route... the directions say "mango tree" I had no idea what a mango tree looked like when we first got there... and there were no mangoes on the tree! LOL but we figured it out with the help of the people the owner had meet us. It was overall an epic vacation... we enjoyed the beach 24/7... the kids even swam at night. We got to see baby turtles hatch right in front of the house... amazing. We had family come over and enjoy the beach and the amazing sunsets. The teens explored up and down the beach daily (it is a long and mostly secluded beach). There are tons of tiny crabs that come out at night... but they all run away... trust me - the teens tried to catch them several times ;-) Stay at this place!! It is so worth it!
