It has an ultramodern feel, with conveniences I wish every hotel had, such as self check-in and a water bottle filling station outside the room. “The hotel is extremely pleasant. Very colonial and comfortable. Nice and warm room. Our only problem was that we had a downstairs room and they all had lights over the door which stayed on all night. I tried to wedge the blind at the edges but it still let in a lot of light. “We were upgraded to an Ocean View Suite and it was superb. The views were amazing. “There is so much to be impressed by at this hotel. When walking through the main entrance you are surrounded by Spanish culture. The breakfast has everything you would expect in a big hotel croissants, coffee, cereal, cheeses and meat etc. but in a beautiful Spanish room. There is a sitting room with piano, a small library with table. The room had lots of beautiful furnishings. The balcony had table and two chairs. “Our stay here was excellent and we felt well taken care of throughout the stay. We were greeted with a glass of Cava on arrival, booked the standard double but received a large corner room with two balconies and a lovely view of the hills and Teide.
