“What a great "stay" enough room for 2 people or 2 couples and our dogs. The back yard is fenced in. It is freshly remodeled. High ceilings with the most beautiful pine wood. A very modern up to date look. On a dead end road with a few older smaller homes and right next to the Trinidad University. Absolutely quiet area. Also, right next to I-25 and a few minutes from downtown shopping and eating. I loved the complementary doggy bowls under the kitchen island welcoming our pets.”

“Our stay was amazing. This house was perfect and cozy. Located right off downtown, you can walk the shops. The beds were by far the most comfortable I have ever slept in. They do not skip a beat with all the items in kitchen for your use. The owners respond fast, and take good care of the property. Well worth the price. We will be back for sure!!”

Sitting on the deck in the afternoon, with the sun and the Cuchara River is very relaxing. It is a great choice!”

The scenery while hiking the trails, and the view of the Spanish peaks from the cabin were beautiful! It's obvious that a lot of love has gone into the upkeep of this property. We couldn't recommend it more!”

“we stayed on this property in July 2023. We had two couples and one individual. This property was cramped and not clean, and also very dark downstairs. The beds t downstairs were very uncomfortable. Bathroom downstairs very small. The cook wear was very old. I actually found mouse droppings in the crockpot that I was hoping to use. Mouse traps several places. Towels very old and raggedy. The upstairs was roomy, comfy bed, but had issues with the toilet flushing and no towels supplied up there.……

“This hotel felt more like a 4 star hotel , but at a budget price.I travel a lot and usually book higher star hotels. I was pleasantly surprised with La Quinta. It’s nice to have the same atmosphere and save money. I plan to book more La Quinta Hotels on my trips. ”
