“We had a nice view and an amazing sunset. It was very walkable to restaurants and shops. Good amenities, comfy beds. Can sleep 4 and perhaps 5th on sofa. It did get very warm in late afternoon, did not see A/C so could get stifling in the dead of summer. A minor thing would be the TV, very complicated needs some instructions. ”

“The North Chesterman beach is easy to access from a path down the road from where you stay. A lovely way to greet the morning. A short walk away is a hotel with restaurant called ROAR, a wonderful friendly place. Dogs are allowed in certain areas where you eat and the food, beer and service is excellent. Again a short walking distance is the Wickeninish Inn which is world renowned. It’s a must visit as the views are great and food, drinks and service outstanding. You can just go in for a drink……

We enjoyed sitting on the deck and watching the boats and sea planes come and go. Also we loved the proximity to the shops and restaurants in Tofino which were only a few minutes stroll away. “This space has everything you could need and more. The communal gathering spaces (deck, kitchen, living room) accommodated everyone and allowed us to prepare meals and enjoy them together all while maintaining conversation and being social. The greenery around the home offers ample seclusion, so much so we often found ourselves forgetting there's an attached home - great design that prioritizes privacy for both sides of the home. The hot tub was a real treat, and bear prints on the shoreline!……

“The house is nestled in the trees where you can watch the tide come and go from the inlet. We saw a black bear cub walk across the mud flats into the woods. The main living area and kitchen is wide open and huge with lots of seating areas where everyone can visit without being on top of each other. The master bedroom and bathroom is very large and feels like you’re up in the trees. The other bedrooms and bathroom is also very comfortable. It’s a short walk to Chesterman Beach along the walking……

“Despite a day and a half of constant rain we had a very good four-day stay. The location can’t be beat: the house has beautiful views of Chesterman Beach, with good seating areas inside and out to take advantage of the vista. The house is quiet and feels very private, nestled among the trees. The kitchen is fully-equipped (better than many other places we’ve stayed). The bed was comfortable. The large washer and dryer were very useful, especially when we got wet in the rain. It’s a short drive……

“The property is tucked into its own little forest so it feels very private. Roomy, bright, very clean and has all the amenities including a wine fridge and a nice espresso machine. Very comfy beds, and lots of games in the living room. Perfect for the 6 of us. Highly recommend The Dunes for your stay in Tofino!”

We were able to get back and forth to the island safely with an enjoyable boat ride. The float home is super nice and has a fish hole you can check out the sealife. “It was a pleasure to stay with Pearl on her island. This getaway is different than most vrbos. Strawberry Island is a short boat ride away from the public wharf/boat launch in downtown Tofino. Pearl was incredibly accommodating in shuttling us back and forth whenever we wanted. We stayed in one of Pearl's three cabins which shared a large dock system with several leased float homes. The cabin was very clean, rustic and cozy consisting of a single room with a bunk bed and two single beds. The……

“Billy is a gifted and generous host. He kept in excellent contact with us to answer any questions and we enjoyed meeting him. This property is beautifully located, designed, built, furnished, and decorated. The site pictures really don't do it justice. Beautiful views onto a secluded bay are reflected in the local art on the walls. If you are a star-gazer, the night skies are dark and expansive. A comfortable place to hang out for the day if the weather is poor and close to the beaches when……

“A well-located cozy cottage near a few beaches, a short drive or bike ride away from Tofino and not to far from Pacific Rim National Park. There's even a coffee shop, Tofitian café, a few minutes walk away! It was a perfect place to call home while we explored the many trails, beaches and even Ucluelet for a day. We would definitely stay here again when we make our way back to Tofino.”

“The cabin is in a really good location. It is within walking distance to Chestermans Beach as well as several dining choices. There is full internet and cable TV at the cabin as well. I would recommend this cabin to anyone looking to visit Tofino”
