We stayed here before the Christmas holiday. Many places were closed around the island and we were trying to go diving. Reception tried over and over to help us schedule a dive. Their efforts were incredible! They also made renting a scooter super easy. The entire staff was amazing! Kind, sincere, helpful and caring. The breakfast buffet was top-notch and their pizza was pretty good, too. We attended Island night on Tuesday and it was fantastic! The entire facility is clean and beautiful and we would love to come back someday. Thank you for everything!

Best small hotel pool! Filtered ocean salt water refreshed almost daily. Great Tapas bar with the best Pina Colada mocktail I have ever tasted. Would/will definitely go back!

The rooms are soundproofed and in 6 nights I never heard my neighbors. The units are only about 2 years old so everything is in good shape. I did a lot of food prep rather than eat in the restaurant. The kitchen is well set up. There are stores down the road. The beach is lovely and had various lounges, tables with umbrellas and beach towels are supplied. Each unit has its own drying rack so you can get things dried pretty quickly. Laundry service is available. A/C was good although I mainly used the fan. I'm from a hot climate so the temperature was fine. My only complaint was some really noisy people with the poorly brought up children who were oblivious of others. My room was poolside and I enjoy seeing kids and families having fun. Most parents hush their kids if they're getting out of hand. This family didn't do that. It was culturally normal for them to be loud. I did go out and put an end to the three sons chasing a mother hen and her chicks. Resort Tava'e might consider an adults only area.

Love this place…from the moment we were picked up at the airport everyone was friendly and worked hard to ensure are time at Tava’e was perfect…I wish I could bottle up the smell of the flower lei they give you at arrival as they are lovely smelling …we rented scooters from the front desk for two of are three days…super fun way to get around…Do not miss Kia Orana tour for the lagoon tour it is a must!!!!! Lovely family ran business..You visit many places and have lunch on their family island… Over all our visit to Tava’e and the island was the highlight of our time in the Cook Islands

We absolutely loved our stay here. Nothing beats enjoying a glass of wine or breakfast with stunning views of the lagoon. Having complimentary swimming gear right on the beach was such a bonus, and with access to not just one but two pools, it made our time even better. The room was spotless, tidy, and very comfortable with both air conditioning and fans. Even the reception staff went above and beyond, arranging a vehicle for us—such awesome service that really exceeded expectations. We’ll definitely be back!

Kudos to their top notch hospitality. They helped us with everything- last minute airport drop and pickup, booked the best lagoon tour, booked table for dinner, helped us to get vehicle to get around places. Room had perfect beachfront views!

A great location at Aitutake !!! They looked after us well and there were a number of alternate eating opportunities nearby. Check-out was easy and we were able to use the pool / facilities until it was time to take the hotel courtesy van to the airport. We loved our stay. Thank you !

They didn’t notify guests of Tsunami. I assumed it wasn’t going to affect the Cook Islands. Later read there were warnings. Also a bit lax on identifying people’s luggage. Fortunately people are honest.
