「We enjoyed our stay. The cottage was nicely decorated and very clean. We had what we needed to cook and be comfortable there. The back yard was so beautiful and we enjoyed relaxing on the deck. There was lots of wild life surrounding the lake - we even observed a Bald Eagle - the provided binoculars helped too. We were close to the Ohio to Erie bike path and enjoyed riding bikes into Akron. The host communicated well and we had a very relaxing time.」

We also hiked at Cuyahoga Valley NP which is only about 25-30 minutes away from the house. Over all we had a great experience and we would stay there again in the future!」

「We've stayed at many Vrbo and other properties. This was one of the nicest ones by far. We're used to bringing soaps, TP, garbage bags,etc but this house was fully stocked. Dan really thought of everything! There were even dog bowls and a leash! I noticed too that many of the property owners keeps decorations to a bare minimum, out of fear of theft I'm guessing. Not so here. There were decorative vases, pictures, chatchkies, even a large light up globe -- all of which i really appreciated. Good...

「Rented this place over Christmas holiday for for extended family to stay while in the area visiting parents. Very clean, newly renovated, lots of room, sleeps 8. In a great location close to groceries, shopping, national park, Hudson, Peninsula, Kent, Akron. Would definitely stay again the next time we are in town.」

「Great remodel, but plumbing gurgles loudly with storm through sink in kitchen, loud enough to wake you up at 2:00 am. The furnace is very loud and when shuts off and on you can feel it through the floor and is extremely loud going on and off line it’s breaking. I sent a recommendation to the owner. They also have stock responses that are a bit off with responses….」

「The cottage was very nice. Beds and showers were good. Lacking some kitchen items, i.e. dish towels, pots/pans. The grounds were very overgrown and outdoor chairs needed repair or new ones. The location of the cottage was wonderful. Very nice view from everywhere as long as the neighbors didn't have their camper next door. All in all a great stay.」

「It was one of the cleanest places we've been in a long time. I was suprised how much space was in the rooms, which made it more comfortable. We had three people in our room and didn't feel crowded, even though we set up a camping cot so we didn't have to share beds. The staff were also friendly and accepting to us and other people we saw in challenging situations. The shower ws big enough to turn around comfortably! (I have 22" shoulders and have often had trouble turning around in hotel...
