1BR/1BA Yal Ku Cai Poolside Casita located in a beautiful condo complex at the Caribbean entrance to the famous YalKu Lagoon, in Akumal, Mexico. Newly renovated with Talavera tile, the casita is fully air-conditioned and has a dining room, living room, full bathroom with shower, bedroom with a king bed, and a front porch for relaxing. Smart TV. Breathtaking panoramic views of the sunrise over the eastern horizon. You will feel like you are on the edge of paradise!

The manager will greet you within 24 hours of your arrival. Yal Ku Cai has a night time guard for added security.

Located on the highest point of Akumal, Yal Ku Cai opens up to uninterrupted panoramic views of Half Moon Bay to the south, and the Mexican Caribbean, and the famous Yalku Lagoon to the north.

The pool is very serene... you will enjoy every moment relaxing poolside listening to the waves!

Welcome to Akumal- Where 'social distancing' has always been the norm naturally! This quaint beachfront town is known for its spaciousness and is a getaway escape from crowds. Here the fresh air is intoxicating, and gentle trade winds blowing in from the Caribbean are so refreshing. Enjoy outdoor dining and delicious fresh food in our favorite open-air restaurants, most just a short walk away.
Leave your worries behind; our rental properties have always offered the standards of cleanliness (e.g. daily maid service) the rest of the world is now needing to emulate. In addition, strictly enforced quarantines all of April and May have helped Akumal be spared of COVID-19, and the locals are still being extra conscientious. No stress either, as we offer unique flexibility right now for our travelers during these hard-to-predict times. We welcome your upcoming visit to Akumal and know you will love this quiet, tidy, uncrowded slice of paradise!

Yal Ku Cai, sits on the northern perimeter of spectacular Half Moon Bay. From the panoramic view, protected Half Moon Bay sits to the south, and the coastline of the Mexican Caribbean to the north, just where it opens to the inlet of Yalku Lagoon. Yal Ku Cai is only a 3-minute walk to Yalku Lagoon or 1 minute to the sands of Half Moon Bay. Snorkeling in the Lagoon or Bay is some of the best in the Yucatan! Common areas have sun/shade guarded pool with loungers. A large built-in gas BBQ is available next to the pool. The staff is exceptional and can help guests with anything!

You can bike, drive, walk, or rent a golf cart.

The condo has carbon monoxide detectors, no interior gas lines, and smoke detectors for your safety. The property is smoke-free.

Yal Ku Cai Casita - Feb 2025

We had such a nice stay at Yal Ku Cai. We had 4 nights and 5 days and was just as beautiful as it was said to be on the listing. The people and the management are so kind and so responsive they only add to the charm of the whole experience. We hope to come back to the same spot again soon. We found the entire area to great place to get away and soak up beautiful Mexico.
