The view was lovely but there were way too many rocks along the beach and in the water. Even wearing water shoes was a challenge. Not much of a shoreline to walk. Its was definitely not a swimming beach. Our housekeeping lady Particia was very nice and kept our condo very clean. We had many problems. The windows shook and rattled so loudly we couldn't sleep we contacted our hosts who sent maintenance to fix several things. Very rarely did we have hot water. The kitchen never had hot water. Again had maintenance come but the kitchen still never had hot water. The one sink in the bathroom. Was broken and couldn't drain. The toilet needed repair to flush. The fridge was older and noisy. The sofa was old and very uncomfortable. I don't think this place has ever been updated. Other guests had to be spoken to because of smoking and having glass and glass bottes by the pool. After speaking to people who live in Half Moon Bay, and had previously owned two of the condo units in our building , they told us that when vacationers stay longer, they get a discount. We were there a month and were never offered a discount, nor were we offered any kind of compensation for all of the issues we had. We made the best of it but were very disappointed that we were not given anything for our inconveniences. The lagoon down the road was lovely to snorkel in, and there is a sandy beach that you must pay to get in. Only convience stores, the grocery store is down the highway a ways. Bus or car.
