“The checkin clerk was very friendly and helpful. The room was exceptionally clean with hardwood and tile floors. No carpet was a definite plus for us. The hotel is a basic hotel for an overnight stop along a road trip. The breakfast was hot and plentiful. ”

“This is a cute property and has been made to feel like home. 2 bathrooms 3 bedrooms 2 pull out couches-we did not use, a washer and dryer and a fully functioning kitchen,-no dishwasher-unless you count yourself as one. We loved our stay. Our Athens Alabama experience was amazing. This property is right on the shore of the Elk River. On the balcony at night you can hear the coyotes scream and in the early hours of the morning you can hear the turkey's gooble. Very beautiful and very cool. We……

“The house was as advertised. The living area was very spacious and was great for my two boys. My only complaint was that the driveway wasn't fit for a boat b/c of the steepness. We had to use 4 wheel drive to pull the boat up the gravel driveway.”

“We stayed for five days (my wife, myself and our dog) in order to attend our daughter's wedding. We hosted a small Bachelorette party at our house and everyone had a fabulous time. We didn't get to sight see much, but did sample some awesome mexican food from just down the road. Although there are some dilapidated homes in the area, we never felt unsafe and downtown Athens is literally a five minute walk from the house. Greg was very helpful during our stay. We will definitely look to stay there……

“Property was exactly that, a slice of Heaven. Cozy comfy beds and couches, nice place to recharge. Location is great, enjoyed all of Athens, explored the Huntsville attractions, and the Smokey mountains are a beautiful 2 hour drive away for an amazing day out. Property itself is safe and secured, and possibly the best sunrise you’ll ever have the pleasure of being a part of. The land around feels like home and could easily spend an entire day out there by the pond, enjoying all the wildflowers……

“Perfect location near family in Rogersville. Quiet, clean and beautiful views. We stayed at the farmhouse during the 'cold snap' of Christmas week and the farmhouse was warm and cozy. Had a water issue related to the freeze which was promptly addressed by host. Overall, a good experience and I would definitely choose the farmhouse again.”
