If you want to stay in a place that take you back over 100 years ago, you're at the place. Clean rooms, you can even play a game of pool in the continental breakfast area. Very nice management in a small town atmosphere. A must stay even if you're not going on a ride on the famous Cumbers Toltec Scenic Railroad line.

Qwerky old stuff abounds. I should have called to let them know I was running. The gentlemen on the phone was very accommodating when I arrived. Only issue was I couldn't find the "lobby" for the continental breakfast, bakery in the market down the street had great cinnamon rolls. Would stay again.

The property is old which is some of the attraction. The staff was very friendly and helpful. When you arrive, you call the phone # on the door & the manager will meet you. Great free parking. We had the room with the kitchen & separate bedroom & living area. The bedrooms were all upstairs. The steps were steep to get there & the floors were not even which could be a problem. They had a gathering room where the morning food was located. A coffee machine, microwave, ice machine & toaster was located in this room. The breakfast food was cereal, instant oatmeal, bananas, packaged rolls, twinkies, granola bars, milk, juices, Hot pockets & waffles. There are not many hotels in this little town & this one served its purpose.
