Beautiful house and family location

The house is wonderful, as is the pool and the stunning sea view. Air conditioning worked well and the kitchen well nicely equipped. One negative was that the wifi was very slow. I would not recommend this as a place for any short of remote work. The neighborhood is quiet and the nearby Son Bou beach is ideal for kids and families. However, for cultural activities, outdoor walks, and restaurants, other parts of the island are better.

VILLA AMOUNIA

The 3 Villas management team was fantastic and responsive and went out of their way to help us. So a huge thank you to the team, especially Felix. The views from the villa are fabulous. There are steep steps from the roadside to the villa as well as some very steep steps from the villa to the nearby town/beach along the public footpath. We took our 80 year old mother and she really struggled. The villa also smelt of damp in 2 of the downstairs bedrooms. Best advice is to hire a car and take mosquito repellant. The beach is lovely and there are several good nearby restaurants including the Buddha Lounge. The locals are very hospitable and the island is delightful.
