Good and bad points

The villa is spacious and has good outdoor space and down a quiet road. It is well equipped. Lovely views from roof terrace.The sofa in lounge is very old hard and uncomfortable. We had to sit on sun beds which were comfier. The bath has a hole in it and is not full size and the sink loose. The shower head in ensuite faces towards back wall so virtually impossible to get under. The pool is not very big and not particularly private. .The tv and aircon did not work when we arrived but the owner did get both rectified in a few days. The manager was friendly but did not seem to know about much and kept saying I dont know about that. Overall we enjoyed our holiday but thought the villa needed updating.

Fantastic family holiday

The villa is in a perfect spot, tucked away for a relaxing holiday away from it all but close to town too. The layout took a bit of getting used to but worked out ok in the end, with one bedroom only being able to be accessed through the master room (and a bathroom) or from outdoors. The facilities were second to none, the only tiny thing that would have made life a tiny bit easier would be a sharper, stronger knife for cutting up fruit (but that’s nitpicking). Gurbia and her team were excellent, fantastic with friendly communication and excellent support (even driving over after a horrific hail and thunder storm to check we and the villa were ok). I would return in a heartbeat. Thanks for a wonderful holiday xx

A pleasant villa in a lovely location

The villa is in a quiet, peaceful location with everything you need for a great holiday. Bedrooms and bathrooms in particular are lovely and the main beds were very comfy (only two of us so didn't test any others) Communication is clear with access and directions described well in advance.

Beautiful house near to everything

We really enjoyed our stay in the Villa Fleur. We didn’t rent a car but still didn’t have any problems to do everything we wanted because all the important spots were super close.

Quiet oasis with pool and ocean view

Villa Fleur is located in a quiet street with no traffic and the pool is absolutely private although it faces the street. The neighbors were super quiet as well even though they had kids. The house is very spacious and was perfectly clean. We had a wonderful stay! Unfortunately we had rented an electric car at first which we needed to exchange for a gas powered vehicle because there is no plug in the driveway of the house and there was no charging station in Cala en Porter. So if you rent a car make sure the newly built charging station at cava d‘en xoroi is actually in operation. It wasn’t in July 2021.

Très agréable séjour

Villa asses grande pour nous, avec une piscine suffisamment grande. Maison très bien entretenu. Se trouve dans un quartier très calme avec des voisins très sympa. Assez proche de toutes les commodités. Supermarché à proximité , plage aussi. Située dans un petit village très sympa. La propriétaire très sympa et communication parfaite pour nous donnez les informations nécessaire pour par exemple, les nouvelles normes face aux COVID-19 . Vraiment un excellent séjour. On reviendra sûrement et on a déjà recommandé cette maison à d autre personnes.

Schöne Finca in Cala en Porter

Eine etwas in die Jahre gekommene aber dennoch sehr schöne Finca. Drei Badezimmer , davon 2 neu renoviert. Wir fanden den Preis angemessen auf Grund von 4 Schlafzimmern , 3 Badezimmern und einem schönen Pool. Renovierungsbedarf besteht in der Küche was uns aber nicht weiter störte. Klimaanlagen gab es in jedem Schlafzimmer welche einwandfrei funktionierten. Es war eine schöne Zeit und wir würden wiederkommen.

Perfect getaway

Booking and communication with Ann was perfect. Good location as short work to town restaurants and beach. The property has everything you would need and was clean and tidy on arrival. Perhaps a bottle of water for late arrivals would have been a nice little touch. The air con worked really well and was needed! All in all a great stay and we were really pleased and comfortable in this property.

Friendly owner and team at this Lovely villa in central location

Had a lovely 10 days at Villa Fleur. With all my family . Pool was really clean as were the rooms . The lounge area is a little dated but perfectly functional . Big issues with flies and mosquitoes but that seemed to be island wide . Cala n Porter was lovely and the beach reached by steps or car is set in a lovely cove and is very safe for children . The biggest asset to this villa is the helpfulness of Annthe owner and Sarah and her team in the island .

Lovely Villa

This villa is fantastic. It sleeps 7 and has 3 bathrooms. The pool area is massive and it also has a large area at the back of the villa where there is table tennis. Owner was really friendly and very helpful.

Perfect location & posttion

We were slightly apprehensive about booking a villa with a road-facing main garden and pool as we were uncertain how private it would be. However, the villa was in an ideal spot, near the end of a close and in an elevated postition and proved to be very secluded. It was also very light and airy inside and we loved the main terrace, accessed via the patio doors in the master bedroom, and where we enjoyed many a lunch and dinner. The kitchen units have suffered some wear and tear over time but the appliances appeared new - and the gas hob and dishwasher were a bonus! We made up our minds during the first week that we wished to return but were disappointed to discover the dates we'd hope to reserve for next year were already booked. However, Ann was very helpful in advising us of other villas close by that were available to rent. We had a fantastic fortnight and were sad to leave.

Fantastic villa!

We recently came back from a wonderful break at this villa. It has all the amenities you would need and the garden is great. The pool gets the sun all day long. The air conditioning is a blessing in the July heat. The villa is located in a quiet cul de sac so there's no passing traffic to speak of, making for a very quiet location, with fantastic sea views in the distance. As the description says, the villa is located about ten minutes from the centre of Cala en Porter and it's quite a hike in the heat! Older visitors or those with young families will definitely need a car. Cala en Porter has everything you need, restaurants, bars, supermarkets, and none of the 18-30 crowd. We've been three times now and love it. Club Menorca is a hidden gem about ten minutes from the villa, with great tapas and the best sea views in Cala en Porter. We had a fantastic holiday and would definitely stay here again!

Fabulous

We had one of our best ever holidays here. The villa is in a perfect location walking distance to the beach but just far enough away to enjoy peaceful and private time away from the crowds and a convenient drive or taxi from the airport. We really enjoyed the sea views from the terrace and from the roof-top and every single evening there was a wonderful sunset that we felt had been put there just for us. We found lots of good quality and reasonably priced restaurants and wine bars in Calan Porter village though we often chose to make our own meals at the Villa to eat on the terrace table overlooking the pool. There was everything we needed including a washing machine and a discrete area for drying clothes. Most days we walked or drive to the local beach which is in a pretty bay with perfect sand and is good for both swimming and snorkelling. We enjoyed a short excursion to Mahon by car one day and hired bikes locally another day to explore the island on 2 wheels. There were lots of events going on locally. The whole area is beautiful and everyone we met were friendly and made us feel welcome. We can't wait to go back again! Highly recommended

Homely Villa

Ann and her daughter Fleur were very easy and helpfull to deal with,by telephone and E mail.The Villa is very homely and comfortable with a terrace surrounding the pool (which was very clean) sunbeds with comfortable cushions getting the sun all day.There is a roof terrace with lovely views and a small terrace with a table and 4 chairs where we spent most late nights having a drink and playing backgammon.There is lots of books and games plus British television.Calan Porter has some great restaurants with menu of the day with a big selection of starters,main courses and sweets at 15.50 to 15.95 euros,El Castillo and Samoa are 2 and both in the centre of the town.
