“Great property with lots of restaurants in walking distance. The shuttle was great and took us to the Sand Mountain Amphitheater and picked us back up once we called and told them we were ready! The driver, Michael, was awesome! The only downfall is that I booked a room with 2 queen sized beds about 5 months ago but when we entered the room, it was only 1 king bed. The same thing happened to my friend who booked her room at a totally different time. When we went to the front desk, they stated……

“This was the worst hotel experience I have ever had. The front desk staff was rude and inattentive. They totally ignored several guests at the front desk. The room was disheveled and in poor condition. The smoke detector had been removed and only bare wires were hanging from the wall. The ceiling in the bathroom was peeling and the drain stops were not working. The breakfast was almost non-existent. The highlight was that the coffee tasted good and was hot. The A/C in the room barely……

“The person in the office argued with me that I selected a smoking room. I showed him my reservation and it clearly stated I selected a non-smoking room. The 1st room was disgusting. The bathroom and walls were brown and full of holes. The paint was peeling off the walls. The 2nd room smelled like urine. The 3rd room stunk do bad it made me gag. Please do no stay here. You will waste your time, effort and money. If I could give a negative 100 stars, I would.”

“Location is excellent with dining and shopping within walking distance. Views are terrific and the property is clean and well- maintained.”

“I have stayed here a few times and it has always been excellent. Convenient to dining and the lake. My goto place to stay when on a fishing trip!”

“Comfortable bed, clean room, nice in room amenities with lots of electrical outlets. Good size bathroom and easy access to the elevator and parking lot. Staff was friendly and the view was nice from the exterior walkway. We were on first floor. However, check in took forever at a late evening and breakfast was not top notch as advertised, and we were under the impression that the room a private deck. That wasn’t the case. They have seating on the walkway right outside the rooms. We didn’t think……
