Advert accurate. 10 minute walk to marina, 15 minute walk to old town. Everything you need for large group excellent facilities and even welcome note with few essentials. Host keeps in touch and arranges transfers if required. Would stay again.

Very good Large Family Villa with a very helpful host

Large Villa that was plenty big enough for 6 adults & 4 children over 3 floors so easy for some privacy within the building Very steep drive but will fit 3 cars on the flat at the bottom, as the villa is on a dead end road there is little traffic, & parking is easily available on the street. Good pool & plenty of sunbeds. Very family orientated as lots of toys & games for all ages plus table tennis & pool. The option of reserving a barrel of 'Super Bloc' is a must as saved shopping for boxes of beer plus tasted so good!!! Good BBQ. Villa has a supermarket & sports bar 5-10 walk minutes away & town is a further 5-10mins walk The villa is a little tired but very comfortable & 'homely'. The help from Andre & Patricia were very helpful throughout our stay & definitely get a 5 star rating!!

Villa Ramos

Lovely big villa, plenty of space, great pool area. The welcome pack was much appreciated and the kitchen was so well stocked with everything you needed. Great communication with André the owner. We love this location, although very hilly, great walking down to town but I always got a taxi back. Just a couple of negatives: The showers in two of the rooms are very old and dated and not working properly which meant 7 of us had to use just 2 showers and some of the mattresses need replacing especially the double mattresses. The suite at the top floor needs a complete new bed as the one there is too low down and really not comfortable. There are broken tiles in the games room which is dangerous if you walk around barefoot. All in all we enjoyed our stay at this villa and if these couple of things were rectified we would stay here again

Perfect Villa

The property was amazing, very clean and welcoming with lovely little touches like a welcome sign on the front door with my name on, it has everything you could need, really nice touches by the owners, they asked the ages of the children arriving and left out appropriate aged toys which the children loved.They also left a very much appreciated welcome hamper.The villa was a perfect home from home and we cannot wait to return.

We stayed at villa Ramos in August the villa is very large the pictures dont show the true size of this place.There was 10 of us and all had plenty of room without being on top of each other,we had cleaners come in once during are 1 week stay and the pool was cleaned most mornings. the kitchen had every thing you could need if you wanted to cook meals we chose to eat out most nights and used the bbq once.The pool area was also very large with plenty of sun beads and chairs and if you wanted to sit out of the sun there was plenty of shade all day.The beach was about 25 minutes walk and so was Old Town its ok going because its all down hill but coming back was hard as its all up hill. The supermarket was a 10 minute walk it had everything you could need to enjoy your stay,the marina was 10 minutes away in the opposite direction and a very nice place to visit we found the restaurants better value and quality here.All in all we a fabulous stay here and would recommend it to anyone wanting to stay in Albufeira.

Amazing holiday rental and can't wait to stay again.

We stayed at villa ramos over the course of our wedding. The communication with the owner was fantastic and he was so helpful and nice. He went above and beyond to help us and is only a message away. Easy booking. Straight forward check in. Its about a 15 minute walk to old town. Small supermarket close by. Uber is easy to use to get around with. The villa is a great size. In a safe area. It also has everything you need. We loved our stay there and plan to rebook and stay again. I have nothing negative to say about the 9 nights we stayed there. One of the most memorable places we have stayed xx

Ruime vakantiewoning voor familiegroepen.

Een mooi ruim huis op een goede lokatie. Op loopafstand een supermarkt. De communicatie met Andre( eigenaar) is heel prettig. Reageert snel en kan van alles voor je regelen. Het huis is ruim en vooral het zwembad de pool en tafeltennistafel werden door de kinderen gewaardeerd. Voldoende speelgoed, zeer goede WiFi met chromecast dus je eigen Netflix mocht je dat willen. Het huis vertoont gebruikerssporen maar dat namen wij voor lief. Wasmachine en vaatwasser is fijn. Wasmiddel en vaatwastabletten aanwezig. Kortom wij hebben een geweldig verblijf gehad!

BRILLIANT HOLIDAY

We stayed here for 9 nights, we should have been a party of 8 but our ever efficient passport office meant 3 of our party could go :-( On arrival the keys were in a box which the host provided the code - on entering the villa we were pleasantly suprised at the space and the cleanliness. We had asked Ramos the host to provide us with a keg of beer - which was all set up and ready to pour on our arrival. :-) The games room downstairs complete with pool table and table tennis oh and not forgetting the bar itself was perfect for lazy days round the pool, only a few steps from the pool - which is lovely. The space in this villa is perfect - plenty of bathrooms and dining facilities. Ramos left us with some goodies on arrical which was a nice touch. Just a head ups - dont take any toiletries, we took ,loads but found we didnt need them as previous guests had left every thing we needed - including numerous bottle of sun lotion. The surrounding area is lovely and peaceful and there is a local shop and bar just a short walk away. the old town and marina are also close by. Be warned though - if you are not the walking type (as i am) - take plenty of extra taxi money... the hills can be rather steep. The view from the villa was excellent, views of the harbour and the sea. Overall it was the prefect holiday and we will be returning very soon, I cannot recommend it enough. See you soon Ramos. x

Fantastic holiday

Yet again thus Villa was amazing. It was spotlessly clean, the pool area is fantastic, it’s a short walk to the beach and Old Town, and we had a great time yet again. The property owner Andre was superb and arranged everything we wanted. We can’t wait to come back, just exceptional.

Villa Ramos

We spent 10 days at the villa and overall it was satisfactory. We are a family of 9 and enjoyed quite a few days in and around the pool which was a really good size. Although the villa was a bit dated it was still adequate, there were some small issues like only 3 sun beds and only 2 beer glasses and no wine glasses but a quick message to Andre and it was sorted. The view from the villa is pretty good to, a perfect location for the old town and the Marina only about a 10-15 minute walk.

It was a great property for a large group as there is plenty of space , only a few minor hiccups like noisy neighbours, for most of the 2 weeks woke us up early hours with loud music screaming and shouting, but it wouldn’t stop us going to the property again as it was just bad luck. Also we never got the villa cleaned in the whole 2 weeks the cleaner just changed beds and towels, so my party had to do the cleaning which was a little disappointing. As we paid a lot of money to stay there. Andre was very good when we had problems so couldn’t fault him at all. He was always on top of the problems. Great location only 10 mins walk to beach and old town. 5 mins walk to Marina. To the main strip you would need to get taxi. But it wasn’t a problem at all. Weather was gorgeous very hot 🥵 If I had to criticise the villa it does need updating in places like 1. the oven needs to be bigger to accommodate large groups, took ages for my party of 14. 2. Fridge freezers need to be bigger 3. Needs to have more sun loungers as there was only 6 at property. 4. All the beds need updating wasn’t comfortable at all. 5. Overall it could do with modernising inside the property. We had a great time would definitely come back. Thank you so much Andre for all your help.

Great villa fabulous location

We ( 8 ladies) stayed at Villa Ramos to celebrate my 50th bday , the villa is so spacious and an added bonus we were not expecting - was the reviews said no direct access from house to the pool but there are now stairs inside the house to the lower floor , out to the terrace and pool. The step into the pool is deep so for shorter guests this could be an issue but although the pool area is tired and could do with some TLC, it was a great area to relax. Some new sun loungers and a few umbrellas would be welcomed. It would also be nice to have a table and chairs outside by the pool area rather than inside. The views from the villa were great and in the evening watching the sunset was simply stunning from the top balcony. The kitchen is large and has some equipment but could do with a restock - fine for us as we ate out every night. Bedrooms were all a good size and 3 doubles on the top floor have air-con, triple room on middle floor and 4 bedded room downstairs have fans, which were great. There is a great supermarket approx 7 mins walk ( straight across at the roundabout) which had lots of choice. The old town was a 15 min walk - slightly hilly walking back up - but not to bad. Andre answered questioned quickly and he arranged transport to the villa and return to the airport which was great and one less thing for us to worry about. The villa was great value and gave us a great base for the 5 nights we stayed. Thank you Andre.
