“Mario the owner and everything guy was the best of all hotel staff I have ever experienced. Breakfast was also the best I have ever had. Hotel is only four years old but still like new and very high quality in all aspects. I recommend this hotel to anyone wanting a room for a day or several days. “We stayed in the balcony room, which was split over two cozy levels. Downstairs had a comfy sofa, TV, and a spotless bathroom, while upstairs was a super comfortable king-size bed with a beautiful view. Peaceful, stylish, and a perfect base near Óbidos, Praia De'l Rei, and Ferrel. Swimming pool was perfect temperature to cool down.”

“Casa do Vale Cabo is a true work of the heart. The landscape changes. And time slows in this special part of Portugal. The food tastes better. The air is lighter. You can breathe and be nourished. “The check-in was so simple. We got a code for the room and gate for the parking and we were in. The hotel was in a great location and easy to walk to restaurants and shopping. “The location is great - walking distance to surf and restaurants, the space in the room we stayed in was good and had a private balcony and the common areas were generally clean. A couple of strange things - for somewhere that is a "shared house"/hostel type the people who work/"hosts" were very unfriendly, there were 2 females who wouldn't even acknowledge us during our stay (walking into the kitchen and wouldn't even make eye contact or make conversation - mind you I commented on their food……
