Beyond great

Amazing location but even more so a great place to come back to and relax. Everything you need and more. Not your fault but I saw a large cockroach.

Stylish, spacious, overall great but room for improvement

Checking in was easy - we parked outside the town walls, walked past the church and found the key box as instructed. Although it was late evening, everywhere was still buzzing so had a meal and drinks in one of the squares, feeling grateful for Spanish hours. We didn't see the owners to speak to, so no worries about privacy if anyone is concerned about that. The agent was friendly and helpful and easy to communicate with - we were suffering with the heat and humidity and they arranged an extra fan the same day, many thanks! The apartment has been sympathetically renovated and the space and facilities were great. The only downsides were the heat (as mentioned above), as it is ground floor there is not much of a breeze (being in a walled city obviously doesn't help) and we struggled to sleep. Air conditioning would be a massive improvement. We were also tormented by mosquitoes although that is hardly the owners fault! The other issue was poor wi-fi connection - it dropped out constantly and drove our teenagers mad. Could be improved. However, these are by way of constructive criticism. We found the house spacious, fab location and well equipped. Had visited Alcudia before but great to stay there, both discovering new things (the sculpture park at Fundacion Ben Jakober is a must if you have a car) and re-visiting old favourites such as Port de Pollensa. A brilliant location to explore the north of Majorca. Parking is easy, wandering around the town is safe and exploring further afield pays dividends (we also recommend Jardines de Alfabia - especially on a hot day, lovely shade and home made lemonade). If you want a resort full of restaurants the port is not far away so you have the best of both worlds - a beach if you want it (watch out for the flat fish in the shallow water) and a more interesting historic town to enjoy. Check out the Flamenco show at the bull-ring - worth it for the guitarist alone. Also, the market has great fruit and veg as well as the obvious tourist stuff and the pottery lady has great prices. We enjoyed our stay, we always love to peer in behind big old doors and see what's inside - here you can go in and leave the passers by wondering!

Schöner Aufenthalt in Alcudia

Super Wohnung in perfekter Lage. Alles sehr sauber und sehr gut ausgestattet. Ihr könntet für Familien mit kleineren Kindern besser kommunizieren das sandspielsachen usw. Vorhanden sind. Wir haben uns sehr darüber gefreut das was da war ! Hätten aber auch viel dabei was wir uns sparen hätten können :) weniger Gepäck. Aber das nur als Anmerkung ! Ansonsten perfekter Aufenthalt

Alcudia - eine Reise wert

Die Wohnung ist groß und sehr komfortabel ausgestattet. Die Gestaltung ist mit viel Liebe zum Detail erfolgt, insbesondere die vielen Lichtinstallationen. Die Elektrik hat ihre "Finessen". Es kann durchaus zu einem Stromausfall kommen, wenn zu viele Geräte gleichzeitig betrieben werden. Aber in dem Fall geht ein Notlicht an und die Sicherung ist schnell wieder angeschaltet. Der Patio ist sehr schön und lädt zum Draußensein ein. Die Lage in der Altstadt ist perfekt - zentral, romantisch und absolut ruhig.

Das historische Gebäude in der wunderschönen ,alten Stadt hat uns sehr gefallen

Die Ausstattung der Räume und die Bäder waren tadellos. Salon und Eingangsbereich für unsere Bedürfnisse etwas zu schattig: Meine Freundin braucht es einigermaßen hell, weil sie fast blind ist. Der Innenhof war für Mahlzeiten und zum abends Sitzen gut nutzbar, allerdings die hohe Mauer etwas bedrückend: Vielleicht könnte man eine zweite Kletterpflanze davorstellen? Leider roch es im Eingangsbereich und im Kinderzimmer nach Urin, wohl von den Vormietern... Eine Kleinigkeit /Irrtum: Nachträglich habe ich in meinen Unterlagen gelesen, dass die Ortstaxe inclusive und mit der Bezahlung erledigt sei. Zu Beginn des Aufenthalts bekam ich von Herrn Debreeze eine Mail, wenn ich keine Karten-Nr. angegeben hätte, müsse ich die Taxe in einem Umschlag in der Wohnung hinterlegen. Da ich keinen Umschlag fand, habe ich das Geld für 2 Personen und 7 Tage der Dame, die uns die 2. Bettwäsche brachte, bar übergeben, somit wohl doppelt bezahlt, aber : Never mind, es sind ja keine großen Summen. Diese Dame war sehr freundlich. Best reguards Claudia Herkommer

Eine gut ausgestattete Wohnung in idealer Lage !

Die Wohnung ist liebevoll und komplett ausgestattet. Der Eigentümer wohnt mit seiner Familie im oberen Stockwerk und ist sehr hilfsbereit. Spanisch-Kenntnisse zur Verständigung sind hilfreich. Die Wohnung ist ein Altbau, welcher typischerweise kühl ist; auf die Terrasse kommt wenig Sonne. Die Lage der Wohnung in unmittelbarer Nähe zur Kirche ist wundervoll; man ist sofort in der wunderschönen Altstadt von Alcudia. Der Ort ist sehr gut zu erlaufen; die Buslinien sind zentral am Tourist Office und auch mit dem Fahrrad lässt sich die Umgebung prima erkunden (Tipp: Puerto Pollenca/Cala Vincent) . Am Dienstag und Sonntag ist Markt in Alcudia; zum Essen gehen kann ich unbedingt das Bistro 1909 empfehlen! Ein herrlicher Urlaub in einer schönen Umgebung... gern wieder!

Fast wie ein Zuhause

Wir haben bereits das zweite Mal unseren Urlaub hier verbracht und können diese gepflegte Ferienwohnung nur weiterempfehlen! Es fehlt an nichts und die Lage in der Altstadt von Alcudia ist ideal. Sogar zum Meer sind es nur ca. 20 min zu Fuß. Wir kommen auch nächstes Jahr sehr gern wieder!
