Bath rooms, carpeting and furniture (vintage and in need of refinish) could use a bit of facelift, but overall the buildings are cute. It seems that every room is unique. The location is excellent - two blocks from Pier 21 and close to Dalhousie. Can be noisy if you open the windows (but who doesn't love operable windows?). Free parking in the back of the hotel was a plus.”

“We checked in very late, close to midnight due to our flight, and received a less than warm reception. But after that, everything was great. Breakfast was good and had enough variety. Staff were friendly and helpful when we needed more towels and shampoo. And everything was clean and comfortable. One thing, though. “At arrival the room given to us was just beside the elevator. We asked to be changed there was no problem with the front desk but it took more than an hour to clean another room. We went for dîner and when we came back the room was ready and our luggage were already in the room. Nice place and nice service”
