“Great dock and lake. ”

“I grew up with a cottage in the area and was looking to rent a pet-friendly place, last minute, that was similar to where I grew up. I wanted something with clean, clear water, good swimming, and water boats included, with a rustic feel. Lindsay’s place was spot on! Full of historic charm (original windows and fireplace, full wood trim), and enough modern amenities to make it comfortable. The view from the deck is stunning! “The long private driveway lead to a fantastic home. Entering the home, we were greeted with an immaculately kept home. The grounds were huge and well kept. Our dog really enjoyed themselves. The real prize was the bathrooms. Insane. We had a couple of issues that could be chalked up to bad luck. Everyone was very helpful, from the host to neighbours who knew the property will. Pro tips for anyone visiting the property; the taps turn on by pushing it toward the spigot. 😀 Also, the lake is……

“After a very rocky start, our family weekend turned out to be a very good time. We had been given the wrong lock box code and wifi address/password, so we couldn't get into the property or contact the owner. Luckily a neighbour across the street was very kind, and allowed me to come in and use her wifi, so I could send a note to the owner through the site. We waited over 2 hours in the front yard, but then got the call with the correct access code so we could enter. The owners are very nice, and……

“If your looking for tranquility this is the place. I suprised my wife for her birthday with a weekend away and some much needed down time. We canoed the pond and walked the trails. The beaver's occasionally swam by and we were visited by the blue jays and the gray jays. Bring your candles for those candle lit evenings, remember no hydro. The location was easy to find and everthing was as the pics show. If needed you can charge your phone with the solar powered charger and signal strength is……

“Beautiful place ! Everything was in good condition. Well stocked with dishes, amenities and water activities (boat, canoe, kayaks). Beautiful gazebo and cozy cabins. Less privacy than expected with neighbouring cottages and an early quiet time (9pm). One thing we would have liked to know ahead of time was having to bring all garbage home with us. Check in and check out was straightforward. Hosts were quick to answer messages and super helpful. Was the perfect setting for our girls weekend. ”
