「What a lovely historic hotel! We love all the little touches like the “classic” refrigerator and the modern creature comforts packaged within a lovely hotel with “old school” touches. Just what we needed. 」

「This is a pretty nice place, comfortable beds, great staff with convenient highway access. Plenty of restaurants in the area within easy driving distance. I definitely recommend this location.」

「Great hotel! It's one of our go to places for weekend getaways! Clean, comfy rooms, nice breakfast, nice pool, friendly staff. Only disappointed the bar (w food) wasn't open while we were there, we were told after 6pm the first night so we went out, & after 6pm the 2nd night it was still closed.」

「Room was clean beds are old and sink to the middle. Breakfast was supposed to have biscuits and gravy but when we asked if more gravy was coming we were told NO with 45 minutes left till service was complete. 」

「The hostess not freindly could definitely tell she did not want to be there when checked in didn’t bother to say hi or anything told her had a reservation all She said is what’s your name and need you id and credit card printed paper out told to sign it and handed the us the keys 」

「We were staying for the weekend for the GNCC race. The staff were great, the hotel was peaceful and quiet. The breakfast was good. I had trouble working the TV but the gentleman at the check-in desk came to help me figure it out. The pool was beautiful out back and had a nice setting but it was definitely too cold to swim in.」

「The first thing we noticed was there were no bath towels in the room. Later I noticed there was no complimentary shampoo, but there were two body lotions. It seems housekeeping needs to pay better attention to detail. When I returned to the front desk for bath towels, there was another guest getting his set of towels, too. Cleanliness was okay but could have been better. The hotel is impressively large but doesn't appear to have the number of staff to maintain it. The decor was fancy but...
