"In general, an okay hotel and probably one of the better options for the area. There was food left out overnight in the breakfast area and in the microwave, and our room smelt like mildew and cigarette smoke despite the hotel claiming to be a 100% smoke-free hotel. The bedding and towels smelt fine ironically. I didn't see any dirt, grime, or bugs, but the smell was definitely off-putting and made us consider trying to find another hotel."

"The room was clean, staff is real friendly however the TVs sometimes are not operational just depends but manager/owner will take the time to check on occasion. Place seems sketchy but it’s really great spot for the night"

"We really enjoyed staying at this home with its old charm but updated too. The house was roomy and 3 bedrooms were so nice. The town of Iola was just around the corner with shops and eating places. And Walmart was just down the street. We will definitely stay again "
