“Goodwin House was an excellent place to stay with convenient access to many beautiful walking trails and situated in the quaint town of Keswick. Liz and Chris are extremely kind and hospitable, the breakfast was delicious, and the rooms were clean and comfortable. I would stay here again in a heartbeat!”

“I didn't actually get to stay there a key code was never sent so i had to make alternative arrangements and pay someone else for a room im now still waiting for a full refund no apologies or anything else so im waiting for a full refund off £450 thats what i want ”

“A gem of a place. Breakfast was delicious and food cooked to order. Added bonus is the owner is a chef. You have the opportunity to a delicious evening meal cooked without the need to drive somewhere.”

The whole house was wonderfully clean, tastefully decorated and comfy. Breakfasts were lovely too! We definitely recommend a stay at Link House if heading to the Keswick area. ”

“Paul was an exceptional host to my friend and I, we had room 7 which is a twin room with beautiful Mountain View’s. It was super clean and comfy, stocked with teas, coffees, etc. The breakfast each day was superb, brilliant quality ingredients for both hot or cold choices. Excellent location walkable to Keswick town centre, Derwentwater lake, Hope park, to name a few. I would highly recommend Strathmore Guesthouse!”
