Great start to summer

This home and property manager were amazing. Our family enjoyed the home, it had anything and everything we needed. Plenty of room for everyone and the location was far enough away for quiet when we wanted it and close enough to Breck and hiking areas.

Family ski trip

The house was perfect for our stay with our grown children, plenty of space for everyone and the kitchen/living room was perfect for gathering together. The hot tub was awesome, we used it every night. The beds were comfy. It was about a 30 min drive to Breckenridge. We liked being in the mountain instead of in the hustle and bustle of Breck.

FairPlay stay

Very nice property with views

The cabin was a great getaway. We enjoyed our time while there. The beds and couches were a little uncomfortable but otherwise we had a nice time.

Country cabin

Great cabin in the country just outside Alma and Breckenridge. We had a great stay and even watched a bear walk by from the raised patio hot tub.

Mountain family escape

We have never been to this part of CO and what a pleasure it was. Locals were so kind and the trout fishing at the reservoirs was great for our youngest. A short trip to shopping and food in Breckenridge, but a clean & comfy mountain cabin to return to was just what we all needed. We enjoyed soaking in the hot tub after a long hike and using the grill and kitchen for a quick meal. The beds were comfortable and there was plenty of bathroom space for everyone! What a great family stay.

Great place and stay

We absolutely loved staying here, this was our second stay at this cabin! And we will definitely be coming back! The views are exquisite and a great place to get away from it all! The road to get to the cabin is a little rough but being off the path it is to be expected! Overall and very lovely location and stay!

Great house and location!

We had a great stay at this rental. It is a beautiful house and great location. We really wish the thermostats hadn't been locked though - it was really hot inside even with the windows open throughout the day and night.

Hiking get away!

Property is clean and spacious. The kitchen is well stocked. Hot tub is great after hiking all day. Location is close to Alma, but Breckenridge is only 25 min away. Awesome hiking!! If want to get away from the crowds just go south

Winter Getaway

Beautiful setting and a perfect winter weekend to enjoy it. The kitchen was well stocked, the furniture was comfortable, and we greatly enjoyed the hot tub and the steaming services on the TV. The internet was a little intermittent. The hosts checked in frequently to see if there was anything we needed and were always available. The location was pretty remote if you are looking for a quiet place to enjoy the beauty of CO.

Christmas stay

Overall, this house is pretty good. Close to Breck and very clean. Though it has two major drawbacks: (1) total lack of basic cooking utensils and tools … only one mixing bowl, nothing to store leftovers, and one spatula … there were placemats and serving trays but no real basic cooking tools. (2) BIGGEST ISSUE: the neighbor across the street exhibits disturbing behavior. He stood in the street and wrote our license plate numbers down and claimed that he was “just keeping us safe”. He also would walk and drive slowly up and down the street and watch the house while we were there. When I contacted the management company about him, I received no response. So renter beware.

Quiet and cute cabin

The cabin was in the perfect location and so quiet. I read reviews about a neighbor that caused issues and was weary about booking it but I had absolutely no issues during my stay. I arrived earlier than check in time and the property manager was great about trying to get us in sooner. They were extremely responsive to all my messages and even sent someone over to look at a door that wouldn’t open to the back patio. The cabin was clean when I arrived and had all the basic necessities that I needed. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay and look forward to booking here again.

Clean and Accomomdating

This place was very clean and inviting. TV worked for casting movies at night and it had all we needed. The hot tub was awesome after hitting the slopes all day. The view is breathtaking and it was easily accessible even with the snow. Can't recommend this place enough! I gave a 4 on the location because we were not used to the altitude coming from the east coast. Not this places fault, but it is one of the highest elevation points in the US. Nothing a little ibuprofen and H2O can't fix. Thanks for everything!

Time Away in the Mountains

Nice place, but lacking. Example: garbage in the front yard, when we arrived. There was no bar soap, the carpeting was dirty and only one trash bag, which was the one in the trash can (in the kitchen). Also, the directions that we received were incorrect. This house is the 3rd house on the left, not the 3rd house on the right.

Mountain Rustic Paradise!

We loved our stay at this unique cabin. Property owner was easy to communicate with. Instructions very clear for check in and check out. We needed 4WD to get into the neighborhood because of snow, but it was piece of cake for our truck. Living room space was perfect for us with plenty of room for our dog crates. Cabin had great Wi-Fi so streaming on multiple devices was no problem. TV in living room was great. Heated flooring in the cabin was a luxury. First floor Master bedroom was such a plus as most rentals have 2nd or 3rd floor masters with lots of stairs! It made loading in and out so easy. Great shower in Master Bath. Plenty of hot water. Kitchen was great. It could use a new toaster, but everything else was perfect. 35 minute drive to Breck for skiing. Love the Alma area. South Park Saloon is a best place for pizza! We come 2 times a year and this was by far our favorite cabin. Can’t wait to stay again next year! 5 stars!

Overall ok

Location to hiking and sight setting was great! Anything you’d want to experience was not far away. Cleanliness of the property was not good! We had to sweep, clean countertops, and dust upon arrival. Area rugs were filthy and had dog hair all over them. My husbands black socks were covered in white dog hair. There was a pair of someone else’s black socks in the master bedrooms entertainment center/dresser with dust and dog hair on them. The beds were clean and super comfortable. Bathrooms were clean. The hot tub was nice. No real good view of the mountains. Most of the view was either trees or the neighbors. Entryway stairs are hazardous and could be difficult. No TV unless you have a Netflix or Roku account. There were no remotes for the master bedroom and entertainment room TV’s. There was a large selection of DVD’s to watch. Once we cleaned the house we very much enjoyed our stay. The house is very roomy and comfortable. Alma and Fairplay have most everything you need. Montgomery Reservoir is just minutes away and an absolute must see!! We absolutely loved it!! We visited it twice. You have the mountains, the water, and old mine and views you just can’t find anywhere. Kite Lake was another great place to visit. Access to several mountain trails and more awesome sights. Rough road to get there though. We had a Dodge Durango and it no problem. We saw cars that made the trip also, but it would slow and steady due to holes and rocks. Worth the trip. Wear layers. All in all we would stay in this area again, but would find something with a view of the mountains.

Piece of Heaven

Our stay was great. We ended up having to leave early but our stay was quiet and so peaceful. Highly recommend this fantastic property to anyone wanting to relax but also be close enough to all the fun offerings of Breckenridge.

The cabin is in a gorgeous area full of Aspen and pine and dirt roads to walk along. The interior was clean, spacious and comfortable and the kitchen adequate. No small saucepans, only soup pan sizes available. But many sauce/ frying pans. No extra blankets or throws, which would have been nice as we had snow both mornings! We also had an issue with one of our members while inside the cabin with allergies. Unsure if there had been a cat in the cabin or something else. We were able to check in a little earlier which we appreciated.
