"Easy to find motel style hotel, just off A1, with plenty of parking. Room looked out towards the coast. Convenient for visiting Bamburgh, Alnwick and Berwick on Tweed. Excellent breakfast. Food available all day long."

"The hotel is exceptionally clean, the staff are friendly,helpful and knowledgeable. The accommodation was comfortable. There is a danger in the bathroom - the inside of the bath has only minimal anti-slip: it doesn’t extend the full length of the bath. I could only climb out of the shower with help ..."

"Oldy-worldy charm in a converted attic, complete with a copper tub (separate from the bathroom). The only (minor) downside is the narrow, steep staircase to two of the rooms which might be troublesome for some people. Excellent 5-star breakfast."

Fantastic Hidden Gem

"It was amazing, the garden rooms are a hidden gem! The design of the room and bathroom were beautiful huge room. The hot tub was a great added touch! I was very thankful for the soya / oat milk in the fridge for us too. The little path to the joiners arms could have been lite a little better from ..."
