"The photos do NOT do this property justice. From the outside, when we first arrived - we were not sure what we had signed up for, as the house sits on a block that is a bit isolated and the front porch is enclosed by screens. The moment you step into the house, it is GORGEOUS, updated, and obviously well-cared for. Beautiful walking trails around nearby lakes are only a couple of blocks away, as are the grocery store, shopping area, and restaurants. The beds are very comfortable, the kitchen is fully stocked, wifi is strong (I had several work zoom meetings with no issue), and the furnishing/colors/plants are truly wonderful. Host answered all questions quickly and thoroughly. Price was VERY low for what you get."

"A very nice hotel in a great area of Orlando. Rooms were spacious, modern-looking, well laid out and clean. Breakfast was above average compared to a typical hotel. Hot brewed complimentary coffee available in the lobby 24/7. Staff were friendly and very responsive to our needs. "

"Things at this property were as described in the listing - no surprises. It is an older property, but clean and well stocked in a pretty quiet neighborhood. Also plenty of comfortable seating in the living room and 2 good sized bathrooms . Good communication from the owner from the time we booked until we checked out - he also provided a nice welcome basket of goodies. The Internet went down one day while we were out, but John had the cable company out there before we even realized there was a problem. Pool was nice and there was plenty of chairs for the patio area along with a couple of tables. We were surprised one morning when we looked out and saw someone cleaning the pool though. Wasn't expecting that, but it may have been covered in the welcome book and we just missed it. Only complaint at the pool is there is no hand rail at the steps. Not an issue for the younger crowd, but a little awkward getting in/out for us older people. We were looking for a place that wasn't in the tourist areas, but was still fairly close to attractions. It was about a 35-40 minute drive to Disney, SeaWorld, Airboat Rides, and the Kennedy Space Center so it was pretty centralized for us and is also only about 25 minutes from Sanford airport. Not many chain restaurants in the immediate area so be sure to check out the local places. Found Las Carretas next to Publix when we were stocking up for the week - won't find a better Mexican restaurant anywhere! "

"Overall the place was very convenient to all our activities for the week. When we first pulled in, it didn’t look like the picture, most of the plants died in the freeze so the dead plants looked bad. It’s an older bungalow but the inside was clean and comfortable. A few maintenance issues such as master sink very slow to drain, the microwave broke while we were using it, toaster didn’t want to pop up right, front door warped so need to pull to make sure lock engages, and dryer is old so it took twice as long to dry clothes. The host was pretty accessible through text on VRBO site. I did get a small refund for sink issue. They were willing to send cleaner to fix it but we were in and out most of the time. The front porch light stayed at about 10 watt. Not enough to light up the porch. The area was quiet. "
