Pros: The country house on the edge of Alora was situated in beautiful grounds, surrounded by stunning mountain scenery. Miguel was an informative and helpful host, which made our stay more interesting. We would not hesitate in recommending the property as a perfect holiday get-away.

Pros: What a place to stay! The house is beautiful and has been tastefully restored. With all the land and lemon and olive trees, it's like being in the country, but only a short walk into town. Miguel is a great host, welcoming on arrival,but giving us privacy during our stay. And he was so helpful when we preparing to leave, booking a taxi for us because our Spanish isn't good enough. Alora is a lovely town, with beautiful views of the mountains and country. Would definitely recommend it!

This property is absolutely stunning. It is much better than the impression you get from the picture

Pros: This property is absolutely stunning. It is much better than the impression you get from the pictures. The owner is so kind, always available and very helpful. The garden area around the house and is gorgeous, the views are sublime. For us it felt like paradise. The house feels like you are miles away from civilisation because the grounds of the property are so big, but you are only 10 minutes walking distance from supermarkets, bakeries and restaurants. Good internet too and as we got really good weather the pool was very nice too. We used it every day.Above all you can get to Alora by train from Malaga city in 40 minutes so if you do not want to rent a car there is no need (if relaxing is your thing). We are still thinking about our wonderful stay every day now we are back in rainy/ cold Belgium and hope to go back again. After been to Malaga city/ Pedregalejo area for 5 times which love so much we now have this property and area included in our best stays ever. This was our first stay in Alora but it will not be the last;)

Pros: Hadden in 2005 al eens de woning gehuurd dus wisten we min of meer wat we konden verwachten. Rustig gelegen, niet ver van het dorpje, vers fruitsap met vruchten uit de boomgaard enz. Bestek en kookuitrustig wat minimalistisch voor 4 personen. Toch een aanrader voor mensen die rust zoeken met toch binnen wandelafstand het stadje.

Pros: Mijn partner en ik hebben in oktober 2016, 10 dagen doorgebracht in Casa Altavista in Alora. Het huis is van alle gemakken voorzien en het was heerlijk dat er een klein zwembad aanwezig was om af te koelen gedurende de warme middagen. Het huis is omgeven door een boomgaard, is niet gedeeld en de buren wonen een paar honderd meter verderop. Dat maakt dat het er lekker stil en privé is. Voordeel is dat het maar 10 minuten lopen is naar het centrum van Alora. Hier bevinden zich leuke restaurantjes en wat winkels, waaronder een grote supermarkt. Vanaf Alora hebben we met de huurauto gemakkelijk leuke uitstapjes kunnen maken in Andalusie. Zo zijn we gaan wandelen over de Caminito del Rey en hebben we Malaga, Ronda en Marbella bezocht. Kortom, een heerlijk verblijf!

Pros: Fantastic apartment within a secure complex; quiet, safe, car parking, great pool, massive balcony. Very good location but definately need a car as up in the hills & no beaches within walking distance, but not a problem as pool is fab, it was exactly what we were looking for. If you are looking to get away & chill but with the option of being able to get to fuengirola, La cala de mijas & Marbella easily I 100% recommend this apartment, we loved it.

Pros: Er komt niet veel dag licht binnen,geen overdekt terras ombuiten te zitten als het regent. Keuken primitief heel laag aanrecht!! Pannen aan vervanging toe. Toevoer van warm moeilijk te regelen . Heel netjes ,gezellig ingericht.

Pros: Wij hebben een heerlijke tijd gehad in casa altavista. Het huis is ideaal voor een gezin met kleine kinderen. Op rijafstand van de drukke costa, maar toch rustig gelegen en aan de rand van een leuk dorp, zodat winkels en restaurantjes op loopafstand zijn. Het huis is heel sfeervol en de grote boomgaard rondom was een speeltuin voor onze kinderen. Elke ochtend jus d'orange uit eigen tuin en limonade maken van alle citroenen. Ook het kleine zwembadje was perfect. Extra pluspunt was de zeer gastvrije behandeling door Miguel, die zelfs boodschappen voor ons had gedaan omdat we 's avonds laat aankwamen en de volgende dag de winkels dicht waren. Kortom, een echte aanrader!
