“The cabin was great!!! Super clean and beautifully decorated. Kitchen was well stocked with all needed utensils. Lovely, considerate extras: ice, bottled water, fresh flowers, and so much more! We spent 2 nights as a couple and 2 more as grandparents of 2 boys (3&10). Such valuable memories and happy experiences. Beach was quiet and clean with anything you could hope for!!! So grateful for Carmen’s generosity. ”

“The host was tremendous. The cottage was 60’s-style, well cared for, and cozy. The beds were comfortable. We were a short walk away from huge, calm, beautiful Hubbard Lake. The kitchen was well stocked and the stove, fridge, and microwave were in great shape and functioning properly. The WiFi and air condo worked great. Be aware that the bathroom is very small and that there is a step down into the shower. The kitchen cupboards, drawers, and handles need deep cleaning. More outlets at the……

“We spent 11 days at the cottage while visiting our hometown for our wedding. The location was perfect and the cottage had plenty of space to entertain any guests that visited. Our favorite part was the sunrises and sunsets as you get a truly exceptional experience of both at this location. The hosts made us feel right at home and were always immediately available for any questions we had. We will definitely stay here again as well as recommend this place to our friends and family that reside……

“Beautiful views of Long Lake from a purposefully decorated and cozy cottage with all the amenities you need, plus the bonus of being dog friendly. This was our second time staying here and we have fallen in love with the location, lake access, easy to care for hot tub, and nearby parks, hiking, dining, and natural areas.”

“Wonderful week at a remote waterfront Lake Huron house. Bring everything you will need, as you are 30 minutes north of Oscoda and about 30 minutes south of Alpena. There is a dollar general nearby and a wonderful restaurant 10 min north but true shopping is limited. The house is spacious and located just off a rocky shore beach point with great access for swimming, canoeing, kayaking, paddleboarding, etc. Recommend bringing drinking water as well. We stayed with 16 guests, 10 children, and……

“We enjoyed our stay. It was well equipped with all the necessities. The house has a lot of comfortable seating for larger families. We loved the front porch, it also has a lot of comfortably seating. The location is great, just a few blocks from the park, marina and Lake Huron. Many stores and restaurants are also in walking distance. We brought our bikes and enjoyed riding ariund town and along the shoreline. We would definitely rent again!”

“We were thrilled to be on the Thunder Bay river. My family likes to fish off the dock. It is shallow at this point and peacful. We were able to use one kayak. The second kayak was too filled with rain.water and too heavy for us to turn over and drain it. The deck is a lovely place to sit or eat and watch the river, except that the seat cushions were soaked with rain water also. I suggest a deck storage box to store the seat cushions when not in use. this will keep them dry and ready for use.……

“Great home! Very clean and with all the things we needed for our stay. Walkable to Churchill Pointe Restaurant. We brought our paddle boards, spent our days hanging on dock, and rented a boat for an afternoon as well. Water is super clear and amazing for swimming. Fire pit for s’mores at night rounded out the trip. Derek is incredibly responsive, and was able to work with us when our dates shifted from what we originally planned. Would definitely stay again! ”
