Great place to stay!

We had a great time! Our host was very responsive and helpful! If you have bad knees, the bathtub is a little tricky, When it’s warm, the outdoor shower is fabulous! I would definitely stay here again!

Unique, comfy, & inviting

We loved the yurt. It was perfectly appointed with everything we could possibly need to make the stay very enjoyable and pleasant. The bed was extremely comfortable, the AC worked great, and the place was quiet. We were close to everything we wanted to do in Alpine and will definitely try to book there on return trips to the Big Bend.

A true west/south Texas experience

Every detail was thought of! It was the perfect desert oasis after a day of exploring. Truly beautiful sunset over the mountains. Adorable setting! Highly recommend this yert for anyone looking for a perfect clamping experience.

Magical Desert Charm

Step back in time with this charming yurt experience. One can imagine a more simple time with this well appointed, colorful, comfortable, and character-packed dwelling. Beautiful desert view, close to town, and great communication with host! We could not have asked for a better weekend getaway!

Great stay for our Big Bend visit

We booked a couple nights here for an extended weekend trip to Big Basin national park. Being a little over halfway between our arrival airport and the park the location worked out well for our needs. First time 'glamping' and although i was a little unsure of what to expect the place was great and was well worth the stay. It ended up being similar in size to many hotel rooms we have stayed and had a bathroom, shower/tub, kitchen facilities, refrigerator, and most importantly for this weekend ample heading. The nights got down into the teens but we were just fine. Would definitely recommend and really enjoyed our weekend.

Gateway to the high desert

hard to give it enough credit. just the right distance from town to enjoy nature. Perfect set up for a little privacy. Next time out I would like to stay here. Property manager and owner first rate!

The yurt and amenities in it were perfect. Communication with the manager was easy and pleasant. The door had some issue with the lock and the neighborhood dogs like to bark a lot but that can’t be fixed. We would recommend this place to stay

Outstanding stay

From the very moment I clicked confirm the stay, the communication from the property owner was spot on. She gave us detailed instructions on how to get to the property and even gave us some excellent advice on local restaurants and events. Very clean and well maintained property. The Yurt was so comfortable with no detail overlooked. The little things like the art work and speciality coffee to the very comfortable furniture was spot on. I am very security minded, and I had no worries staying here. We felt very safe. I highly recommend you stay here and not at a hotel.

My daughter and I had w wonderful stay for the weekend. Short drive to Big Bend for fabulous hike. Yurt has everything you could possibly need! The bed was so comfy! My daughter really loved the decor! Especially the bed frame. Actually curious where I could purchase? Lol. Thanks for sharing your wonderful place!

Beautiful stay in Alpine

The property was beautiful and check in/check out was a breeze! Highly recommend staying here if you’re in the area. The yurt experience was so unique and the decor was lovely! Hopefully we’ll be back someday :-) Thank you for everything!

An absolute dream.

This was the best experience we have ever had at any rental, even hotels. The yurt was even better than described and the bed was so comfortable. We were able to truly relax and explore Alpine, hike Big Ben and go explore Marfa as well as getting lucky enough to see the Marfa lights. Kimberly and Micaela were great with communication and they even sent over recommendations that we did and they did not disappoint, all were great. Already planning our next stay there!

It was a bucket list trip

We stayed in a yurtWe saw Big BendWe went to the Observatory My wife and I loved it! I asked her why she liked it. She said that she loved it had a dog run for our dog. An enclosed place where he could go, stretch his legs and relieve himself. Adjacent to the dog run were dumpsters to dispose of his waste.Inside the swamp cooler kept everything cozy. My wife loved the claw foot tub. Utensils from pans, dishes, cups were all there. We brought our Fire Stick so the only thing we missed was our KeurigHighly recommend!

Outstanding! This place is so cute and cool! The property grounds are adorable, each rental has its own unique vibe. The property owner has thought of everything. The skylight is a great feature! If we ever come back to the area we will 100% stay here again!
